“First time visit for us last night. Had a fantastic musical 1-man act up front. The space is sort of divided in two but it’s open enough to where you still feel part of the story. A dozen taps with very local and fresh beers. I consider myself “in the know” in this category and was really impressed. The food- first of all, I couldn’t decide on which of about 6-7 things I wanted to try. I decided on the “Elevated bacon sandwich” with onion rings and was very pleased. My wife got the Birria Ramen, and the kiddo got chicken tenders and fries. I tried all of em, and was the most impressed with the ramen. It was my first time trying any sort of ramen and decided to do so strictly off the smell and appearance (hint: both fantastic!)

I can’t wait to go back. DT Riverbank is a better place with this restaurant here. I just hate that it’s taken me this long to discover it.“

“Second trip to the Protein Spot and both of my drinks were awesome. I got the butterfinger yesterday and the Boss today. The boss was recommended by the owner. He was very helpful and kind. It has great flavor and a bit of a bite to it thanks to the walnuts. They also had a ton of different coffees and energy based drinks. Quick service and I was able to call in advance since I was on my lunch. Both drinks were each $11 and some change. Excited to return back.“

“Service is super slow. food comes out in multiple trips. including coffee and pastries. plus a couple other trips for silverware. servers had to be reminded to bring our missing items. Food was cold! Enchiladas verdes were good, but we only got 3 and they don't come with any sides. for the price we were expecting more food. chilaquiles were OK in terms of flavor, but were dry (not enough sauce)and some chips were stale. I had take some of the enchilada sauce to coat the stale chips. Molletes are not traditionally made. they were made with sliced bread not bolillo/telera as they should be, so bread got super soggy and chewy. chocolate muffin was not good either. it tasted as if it was sugar free/vegan or something. weird flavor, hard to explain. chocolate chip cookie was individually wrapped in plastic, which tells me it's not fresh. the only thing we enjoyed was the cafe cubano and the raspberry cheesecake.“

“This was my first time to this subway. It was very clean inside the two young ladies that helped us on Easter were very nice and answered a lot of questions about the sandwiches. One of the young ladies even gave us information about the job for our daughter.I went with the chicken teriyaki wrap and and the other was a regular chicken wrap in a meal. I would definitely go back just based on my experience alone.“

“I had my 58th birthday party last night at camp 4 , everything was amazing from the charcuterie boards to the yummy Panini sandwiches everything was excellent! The servers were awesome and on point! “My first time at Picasso’s was yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Rafael (French Dip) and a side of macaroni salad. My wife ordered the Kingman and a side of Tomato Pesto Soup. My wife enjoyed the Kingman stating that it was “On Point.” However, she has not stopped raving to everyone about the Tomato Soup. She likes it very much and stated it was the best Tomato Soup she has ever had. My sandwich was so delicious. And in our current state of affairs, where restaurants are raising prices while ignoring providing quality options, this is saying a lot.“

“Nick the Greek is one of my favorite spots for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. The ingredients always taste fresh, the portions are generous, and everything is well seasoned. The gyros are delicious, the meats are tender, and the sides like the fries and pita are always on point. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick, whether dining in or taking out. Overall, it’s a great place for a satisfying and consistent meal. Highly recommend!“

“I had a few tasters to see what I liked, but none really stood out. I only sipped each one. One of the bartenders asked if I even liked beer and felt they were annoyed even though it was not busy. I said that I do like beer and felt pressured to make a decision. Theirs just left an unpleasant bitter taste. The Pina colada was the winner. I remember it last time I was there. As per the food truck, I ordered a regular burrito, asked if it was spicy, and she assured me it wasn't. Paid $13.00 for a burrito regular. I could only take two bites of it and was extremely hot, not even mild. Disappointed. I'd prefer to leave a better review, but it wasn't great.“

“Great food. Came here for the first time a few months ago and have been back several times since. Up until now the best Italian food I’ve ever had was when visited our daughter in San Diego and we always go to Buono Forcheta in the South Park area. Gusto is as good as they are. The depth of flavor in the bolognese sauce is amazing. The lasagna is also amazing. The other nice thing is that the kitchen is out in the open behind the bar area and you can watch the chef work his magic if you want to sit at the bar.“

“I'm literally obsessed with this place. I found out about it on Tiktok. I'm from Turlock so anytime I'm in Modesto I make sure to go. I always get their chicken family pack and it comes with beans, rice, macaroni salad, and lots of corn tortillas. I also get their pork ribs with bbq and omg it's the best! They grill their meat outside so when you pull into the parking lot you could see and smell it. I always take it to go, and they're very fast with your orders and friendly customer service. They have nice seating inside too with big flat screen TV's. Honestly guys I'm Mexican and have tried a lot of places but this place is definitely a hidden gem. A little hole in the wall 🩷“

I stopped by for an iced latte and a couple of scoops of their hand-scooped ice cream, and both were incredible. “I stepped into Mocha Magic Cafe wearing my Golden Snitch earrings and necklace. Absolutely to celebrate and recognize any local business that Celebrated Harry Potter's Magic Birthday. The shop was charmingly quaint with friendly faces to greet me. Loved the shop ambiance. The Widow displaces were filled with delightful cookies,cupcakes and bagels. There was an extended Hot and Cold Beverage list I snatched a Chocolate peanut butter snitch, that was decadent and delicious. I ordered two other cookies, An Apricot and Chocolate filled. And a Farmers Breakfast Begals. My choice of Begals. I ordered a puffy Crispy Cheese Begal that was displayed. Much to my disappointment, The sandwich I received was very flat. With a thin mayonnaise dressing coming through. I only received the apricot filled cookie the other was a chocolate with white chocolate chips. I took pictures but Was unable to post on this form. Look I loved the place, with all a Charm and friendly hosts a customer would want. But for me the sandwich was a miss. My house Coffee was amazing. And I'll definitely be back for that along.“

“I went hoping to order 2 dozen cookies. It was my first visit and I had looked on line for a great bakery in my area who had white chocolate macadamia cookies, because they are one of my family members favorite. I stopped in around 10a. Looking at the picture online, it’s a little misleading, that the cookies are 11.50 per dozen. But that is only for ONE type of cookie. The WCM cookie is 42$ a dozen!! 3.50 a cookie.

I bought 2 cookies 1 WCM and a Snickerdoodle. Both moisture and fresh tasting, soft in the center like home made. the price point is a little high.“

“I went here because we drove by and I haven’t been to this flea market in a while. Walked around. Grabbed a churro and was hungry. Stumbled upon this place and I’m glad I did. I ordered a Gordita with asada and my wife ordered 2 tacos. Handmade tortillas and I tried 4 difference salsas. So good. So nice and warm and FRESH! This has to be my new favorite taco truck in Modesto flea market for sure! Thanks Martin and familia! Next time I’ll try the machete. The huge quesadilla! 10/10“
