“We took a ride from Stockton to Coperopulis which I had never heard before. We met up with my nephew and his wife and my son and his wife had pizza and the cheese sticks which are amazing! The little town was built to look old but vibrant it's a cool place with other eateries around and quaint bars. Gold Dust has ice cold beer on tap and matching ice cold fountain drinks. I highly recommend you not pass Coperopulis without stopping into Gold Dust Pizza.“

“Really wonderful spot to stop on the way to Bear Valley. Close to Tesla superchargers. The brisket burger was truly incredible. “What a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious. I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the French Dip. We chose a table at the window inside on the 18th hole which was pretty amazing. It was very bright and clean. Our server was new, but did a very good job. The bartender was pretty busy with golfers, but found that he could have communicated with our server since they were out of the beer we ordered and it took a while for her to find that out. Otherwise, we'll be back!“

“The food is great at this spot. I usually have the chicken burger. The buns are really soft and chicken very crispy. The garlic fries are really taste if you like those. We have also ordered a few of the different appetizers which were great. This is not a full service restaurant. You order your food as you come in and they bring it to the table. If you are looking for full blown restaurant service this may not be the place. However, if you are looking for great food, good laid back environment with an awesome setting by the lake water, then this is the place. They have a nice bar setup if you are looking for some beer and drinks! Whether you pull up in your boat or car, this is definitely a chill spot.“

“Literally the best Taco truck food I've ever had. I eat at a lot of taco trucks and this one easily takes the cake, that includes anything I've found down in the valley. I usually get the super quesadilla here and I'm never disappointed. Delicious, fresh made with high quality food. Always make it a point to stop here if I'm passing through angels camp!“

“We were a party of six last night at Camps and we had an all-around great experience. Our server, Emily, did a great job and was very attentive and helpful. I also found other members of the staff to be very kind and courteous.The food was very good and well prepared. Two people from our party of six had the pancetta wrapped chicken and loved it. I had a ribeye steak, which was excellent and just as I had ordered it.Keep up the good work Camps!!“
