“On a day trip down 49 from Sutter Creek we stumbled into Goodness Cafe mostly because we could bring our dog to the outside dinning area. What a fabulous place. So many choices. This is a delightful place with a wonderful staff. Our sandwiches were delicious. Can’t wait to try their empanadas. This is a treasure in Sonora. We will be back. Mike and Elizabeth and Annie the Border Collie!“

“I love stopping in anytime I'm visiting friends in the area. It's a great place to grab a cider and play out on the lawn with the family. The people who work at the counter are great. I went on Sunday and there were a ton of people from a wedding party inside and someone got to me right away and even took the time to give me recommendations.“

“An extremely wonderful place. Truth is, I have a hard time sometimes feeling comfortable new places due to being socially awkward . I’ve been yearning for something more inter-sanctum had exactly what I was looking for, and the comfortability as well that I was searching for. I’ve been wanting to be at a place with a little more class as well was looking for somewhere with a charcuterie, board and wine. I’m so happy to find it here. Only downside is lately they aren’t actually open the hours they have listed. I have come by a few times recently at 11am-1pm and they are closed. Dunno whats up with that, they have a Help Wanted sign up for a cashier so maybe something to do with that. But when they are open the food is fresh and satisfyingly delicious.“

“I am Schnoogs newest number 1 fan!! As someone who has been gluten free for two years, I could not be more impressed with Schnoogs’ selection and variety of GF products. Hands down the best GF scones I have ever had (and I live in NYC). I’ve had the breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread twice now and it’s been amazing. Delicious GF/ vegan brownies, GF cookies and wedges (GF biscuit with bacon, cheese, chives). Sally and the entire staff have been so lovely every time we’ve been in - our new friends in town!! Couldn’t recommend Schnoogs enough! Can’t wait to come back every time I’m in town and try something new off the amazing menu.“

“Docs dawgs always serves up fresh delicious dogs. They have a great variety of freshly prepared toppings and a huge variety of sauces and condiments to choose from. My favorite is the polish dog. “We stopped in for lunch and were amazed by the staff and food. Everything was awesome from the drinks to the in house made ranch dressing. The avocado fries? OMG Delicious! I had The Feast a prime rib sandwich with at least half pound of meat and my daughter had the Prime Rib dip and my wife had the Chili Burger all beyond delicious. We are definitely coming back. We talked on the way home and want to try everything on the menu. Most everything is made in house. Thank you for an amazing experience and awesome food!!!“

“Best mexican taco shop. Local guy told us this is the place to go. Definitely agree. Try the drewsday burrito it was made in honor of a customer. Tacos al pastor was awesome. Burrito was delicious. They also have a location in manteca called taqueria manteca. Owner was very nice gave me a free Agua fresco refill.“

“Mandarin House is our first choice for take out. The food is always HOT and tasty on arrival at home. The service is always friendly. Good at when we go in for our buffet lunch as well, but I take small portion as the food cools very quickly once on the plate. I appreciate their smaller portions on the buffet as they refresh often.“

“I live on the East Coast but am in the area at least once a year and not kidding when I say my first stop is for truffles from this store to enjoy while I'm visiting, and my last stop is to get another dozen and some British candies to take home. I've always enjoyed the neat atmosphere and helpful staff!“

“Very average experience this time around. Nothing was particularly bad, but unfortunately there wasn't much to brag about either. The fried rice was pretty flavorless, and the rolls were just average.

There also seemed to be a weird vibe among the staff, like something was off that day.

We've been here before, so we'll be back and give it another try. Hopefully it was just an off day and things will be back to normal next time.“
