Could not even tell if it had cheese on it. The roast beef was pretty good, though. $11.99 for a so-so sandwich. Probably try it again, but definitely not super great.“

“We hosted my daughter in law’s baby shower at Columbia Kate’s Teahouse on Sunday 1/11 and it was everything she wanted it to be. Delicious food with many options available at a reasonable price. It was cool outside but nice and cozy in the little room. Our guest of honor chose lemon blueberry and apricot scones (which come with jams, butter, and lemon curd); power blend salad; chicken salad and cucumber tea sandwiches; and cheesecake for dessert. She also chose lavender lemonade which everyone seemed to love, as well as Berry Blast tea. The food was a big hit, the service was excellent, and our mama to be was stunning. Perfect way to celebrate new life, and we will definitely be back.“

“We were in Murphy’s yesterday and a good friend that is very knowledgeable about wine and also a grower told us to stop and meet Gary and Sue and have a tasting. Unfortunately Gary or Sue was not available(probably crushing this years grapes to make more spectacular wine). However we met Jim and he treated us like long time friends, talked about the wines and very sociable. Every wine tasted was suburb and we ended up taking 6 bottles home to enjoy later. When we are back in the area we will definitely stop back in and hopefully meet Gary and Sue“

“A must have experience on this stretch of road. Yes it is in the mini mart. Everything was delicious, tender and plentiful. Upset there was no more ribs or pulled pork by 2pm when we came but tried the brisket, sausage and turkey. Seating is small and truck stop feeling.
Is come back next time i come here.“

“We stopped by Indigeny this weekend, for a quick picnic and a hike on their trail. I have been here multiple times over the year but never done any of their trails. My boyfriend & I did a little over a mile on the trail. We saw part of their disc golf course as well as their gnome garden.
The trail is nice and well maintained, an easier trail. The staff is always friendly and I do enjoy the cider.
Their tasting costs $10 and you can sample all the flavors they have on tap currently; as well as $5 to sample the spirits. This is an indoor outdoor establishment; all ages are welcome & pet friendly!
Keep in mind there are quite a few Barn cats on property incase you have a reactive animal.
I look forward to attending their upcoming Spring Festival.“

“We love stopping by when we are in the area. This time we went earlier (~11 am) and the bakery was already half gone. We picked up an apple pie, several cookies, a tri-berry jam. The animal farm had some piglets and baby goats this time.

We stopped for lunch and was able to get a table for 6 outside. Service was slow because they were busy. We shared a club sandwich, chicken parmesan sandwich (daily special), kid’s cheeseburger, and cider. Food was generous and tasty.“

“I had rather accidently visited Ironstone Vineyards with my family years before, vowing to come back one day and give it the time it deserved. So I was thrilled when my couple booked me to photograph their wedding at Ironstone!

I would never have expected to find such a large venue in the charming but small community of Murphys. And yet this winery has emerged there as a concert venue, garden, tasting room--and quite importantly for my clients--a wedding venue.

Ironstone's varied spaces and lush gardens made the perfect spot for this intimate fall wedding. The bride and groom each had ready rooms that made it easy to relax and dress for the celebration. Meanwhile, a lengthy walkway covered by a trellis was a beautiful and unique choice for staging the wedding itself. And there were so many great opportunities for newlywed portraits in wooded areas, manicured park spaces along a pond, and even a covered bridge!

One particularly unique aspect of the wedding was hosting the reception in the barrel room: one part cavern, one part high ceilinged event space. The look was dim and romantic, the sound was wonderful, and the feel unforgettable.

The staff were also super helpful. They offered alternatives for where to host the ceremony when it appeared some rain might begin to fall. And another staffer shuttled the couple around on a golf cart to make life easier, allowing us to visit some of the more far-flung spaces on the grounds. It was clear they were invested in making this wedding a delight.

All that to say, as a I highly recommend Ironstone Vineyards for an entirely unique and picturesque wedding venue in Amador Wine Country!“

“A no nonsense taco shop that feels exactly as you want it. From the laminent booths to the hand written specials to the board of items lit up thats a bit too old.

Price was excellent, food was great, the salsa bar was STOCKED.

I had the carne Asada plate and an al pastor taco. The carne Asad plate was large fresh and cheap. The beans and rice were as expected and the Pico de gallo was top notch.

The al pastor left something to be desired. It wasnt bad, but it tasted more like I would expect chorizo to taste. Not bad, just not the best pastor I've encountered.

Even during the lunch rush the staff was friendly and prompt.

“We stopped in for lunch and were amazed by the staff and food. Everything was awesome from the drinks to the in house made ranch dressing. The avocado fries? OMG Delicious! I had The Feast a prime rib sandwich with at least half pound of meat and my daughter had the Prime Rib dip and my wife had the Chili Burger all beyond delicious. We are definitely coming back. “We had a party of 18 ppl and we called last minute to see if they could accommodate us and they happily did so. We had such a great time and the wines were very nice. Nick was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as funny; he gave us a good time. The atmosphere was also very clean, modern, and beautiful which made it even more enjoyable. Plus it was a chilly day but their patio heaters along with the wine kept us nice and warm.“
