“I've originally moved up to Sonoma County in 1985. I discovered Tubby's back then. It was old school, comfortable, 50's Shake N' Simple, with Great tasting food... Take Out pre-ordered, and dine in old school Dinner atmosphere back in 85'. You should not expect brand new furniture, and fringe trimmings, to judge and evaluate this Tubby's Cafe quality. I found the fare and facility clean and cared for, despite being off the main drag of touristy diners near by. I've eaten at all these other eateries. I fully recommend dining at Tubby's! ???... Fresh food!!! Old school, but Clean! C'mon Man... let's Go to Tubby's. Satisfied Customer ?“

“The service was excellent. We did not have to wait long on a Saturday morning around 10:30. Had the Florentine Benny, which was cooked perfectly. It came with a ton of hashbrowns and I ordered a side of bacon. It was really delicious. My BF had the hash with eggs and he really liked it as well. He loved the biscuit that came with it.“

“Gotta say when you're in the mood for a satisfying meal, this is the place. Stopped in for lunch yesterday. The patty melt was perfect, The fries were overcooked and crispy, almost like matchsticks. The service was great and friendly. I think this is more of a breakfast place, as most of the folks around us were still enjoying breakfast. Large waffles, ample portions, steaming omelettes, you get the idea. The real deal.“

“I was expecting somewhat of a busy restaurant but it was actually pretty dead for 9 AM on a Saturday morning There were many things on the menu that sounded good but I'm not really doing white carbs right now so I was able to limit my choices easily. This seems like a family business and I felt right at home with a nice greeting and friendly interactions with the various staff. I ended up ordering the egg plate with ham and fruit. I mentioned that I wasn't interested in the toast or dollar cakes and my waitress asked if I'd like more fruit. I said "yes" and "thanks very much!". Although the ham was a bit bland (I should be grateful that it wasn't too salty), there was a ton of food and I was pretty full when I left. I would definitely recommend North Bay Cafe for breakfast and I would try them for lunch too!“

“Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5 TL;DR: An amazing little cafe with some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the Bay/Marin area. Whenever me or my family road trip north, we stop by here for their breakfast sandos. The cafe is fairly small, not a lot of indoor seating but they do have an outdoor patio. The staff were really nice but the service is really really slow; however, that could be because we were sitting outside. But the table next to us sat down after us and they got their water and food before we did -- they finished their entire meal before we even got ours (~12-15mins after) -- so that was a little upsetting. With you sandwiches, you can choose either potatoes, salad, or soup of the day as your side. Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Sando: *5/5*: We got this with brioche. The brioche was toasted well & soft. The bacon was crispy yet still had some chew to it and I loved how the yolk was still a little runny. They also put ketchup in the sandwich as well which I think tied everything together nicely. Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Sando: *5/5*: We got this with their homemade english muffin (highly recommend getting all sandwiches with the muffin). It's made from scratch, toasted really well, & super light & fluffy on the inside. The sausage & eggs were really good but the muffin made the sando for us. Wish we added avacado since that would've made it taste even better (but we forgot lol)“

“This place ticks all the boxes. It’s a breakfast/lunch place that owns its place in the market. Our server, Alysa, was friendly in that welcoming way that lets you know she is going to take care of you. They offer a full espresso menu so I got my morning burst of sugar with a mocha and my hubby got an extra shot in his cappuccino. The menu is pretty extensive for a breakfast place. I had the traditional eggs Benedict, my hubby had a breakfast scramble with linguisa (he’s half Portuguese so he sees linguisa as a treat)Moving on, the food was out faster than most drive thru services. It was served hot, house made, and fresh. They even bake the bread daily. I had a bite of the wheat sourdough and was amazing. (I might suffer for the gluten, but it was worth it)The building itself is old, spotless, and full of nostalgia. There are 1950’s automobile front grills hung high the walls, old photos of the building, and bicycles between the healthy plants hung around the dining room.Delish!“

“The food was tasty. We enjoyed a mushroom spinach omelet, cubed potatoes (home fries?) And a fried shrimp platterService was fine, but not exceptional. But the atmosphere was kinda yucky. When we walked in, we could smell the bathrooms. They are located in the front, near the "wait to be seated" area. The 1s thing you get blasted by is all the fake chemical smells used to clean and cover up odor. Then you smell the odor. ? We were only 1 of 2 customers in the whole establishment. So service was prompt. The music was so loud and NOT conducive to digestion. It was 90's pop/rap genre. I would hope for something more calm, or simply instrumental.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.Kids we not offered any sort of child menu or coloring as most places do. But we weren't bothered by it, just noting it.“
