“Glad it’s open for a 9-hole outing on Friday walking with push cart at the Mountain Course. Last time I played here was in February before the health crisis. The new starter set up was actually more straight forward and efficient. Felt good to be outdoors and truly appreciated the open space and fresh air, after months of sheltering in place. Golf’s an individual game so keeping social distance wasn’t difficult. This usually-crowded course was decently maintained, quite easy and level without water hazard. The pace was good and this outing turned out to be an enjoyable experience.“

“It was my first visit to this bar, and as soon as we sat down, three staff members came over to assist us. The bar area is impeccably clean and well-maintained. An added convenience is the charging stations located right under the bar tables. Additionally, they have a lovely patio area outside.“

We started off with the shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and flavorful, followed by the carne asada burrito that was hearty and satisfying. The fish tacos were a highlight as well, with perfectly cooked fish and a refreshing topping. The botana caliente added a nice touch, bringing a variety of flavors to the table.
And let's not forget the micheladas! They were simply outstanding—gorgeous presentations that were as delicious as they looked. Overall, La Sexy Michelada exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and an enjoyable dining experience!“

“Stopped in on a recent trip to Pasadena. My goal was to find the former train station where my mom and her family came on the train from Kansas in 1937. Angelica , the manager, was so kind when I told her the story of how my mother would always refer to her arrival at the Pasadena Train Station as “having died and gone to heaven. Angelica took me on a tour of the restaurant, and showed me how many of the details of the former station had been preserved and incorporated into the restaurant. I of course stayed for lunch, and everything was wonderful and good tasting. I highly recommend the whole experience of good food , atmosphere, and accommodating staff. Thank you again Angelica !“

“Cool dive bar with lots of TV'S for the big sports game and a great bar . We went to celebrate a birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by the great music . They had 80's new wave , 80's high energy disco and old school 90's house music. The crowd was cool and mellow with no trouble makers, just smiling faces. I would go back again for sure.“

“I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.“

“Came here for a friend birthday, they have good selection of skewer items, and a verity of Chinese bottled beverages. The food is delicious, they cook at the back and bring it to you. I really like the tin foil clam and glass noddle, and special beef skewer. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Grilled fish is also very tasty, and can be made not spicy at all.“

“Went here with my colleagues last March 13, 2025 (Thursday). We were living close to this place in Applebees Montebello. Looks very cozy, perfect vibe if you wanted a chill time with your friends or family. Food and service are superb! They were quick and attentive to our orders. Has a mini bar, lots of chairs for dine in. Given that we were huge group, they were still able to give a great service. Will definitely come back!“

The security staff 1 in particular really nice guy helpful, and accommodating I was not planning to go to a dance place so I had some stuff that was not allowed in he told us he would take care of our stuff and he did at the end of the night he returned them, nice person. “We had an amazing experience. This restaurant has character. From the garden outside to the fireplace and the amazing balcony. We enjoyed the live music (Latin jazz) and we tried some really visually appealing and flavorful dishes. The waiter was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer all our questions so we can have the best experience possible. The balcony has a nice view of the sunset which was a nice surprise to us. Cannot vouch for the food yet, as I've not tried anything
I can vouch for the Service, which is comfortable and casual, yet still professional.
The atmosphere is tasteful for a bar, grill, open-late place. Comfortable booths, dance floor, live band section, and bar. It's closed-in in that you can be inside and nicely disconnected from the busy street right outside.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, in my opinion.
Then again, I have thus far only visited in later evening when kids ought to be asleep.“

“The music did not fail, we dancing all night UNTIL some knuckleheads started a fight and shut it down before 2am. Other than that the drinks were flowing and the vibes were ittt.

It does fill up fast so if you have a big party it's best to show up at 6pm otherwise you in for a wait.
There's street parking but if not there's also public parking available.
