I went here a few months ago, with mixed feelings. It was early, so the place was empty. I went to the counter to order; the person at the register waited for me to engage instead of "welcome..." or "maybe take your order?" I ordered the Mo Town (a standard Philly with added mushrooms), my wife the standard Philly, and we ordered the fries and rings. This place has been amazing for years. I used to go to the one on Lakeshore in Oakland and the one on University in Berkeley pretty regular back in the day. It's nice to see it's here in the Sacramento area. Got the king cheesesteak with cheese steak fries (next time I'll get the curly fries instead) and a soda, delicious.

For cheese steaks, this is the only place I to go locally. I've tried the others, and it wasn't worth it. Generally get just steak and onions with American cheese as im not a provolone fan. The American is just too creamy to pass on.
