“Okay, they left samples out so I tried most of them. Quite a few things were on the dry side for me. If you're going to go with any breads, I'd say stick to the Asian fillings like taro or red bean: those were best. I was not impressed by the chocolate stuff. The one thing you definitely have to get from this place is the egg tart. It's so good, I came before and after dim sum to get more.“

“As a celiac afflicted person it was such a pleasure to eat in a fully dedicated gluten free restaurant. All the foods a celiac craves but cannot have in other restaurants is here in gf form. French fries perfectly crispy, fried chicken and lovely pasta to name a few we tried. Wonderful assortments of ice cream. Chef came out and talked to all the diners, it was a terrific dinner. Wish I lived closer.“

“I love that it's never super crowded when I go in, a helper/cashier always comes to greet me within a few seconds, the vibe is always nice and chill. I love the large varieties of cookies there and they're large! Every cookie and small pie has been absolutely delish! I just had a small key lime pie this past weekend that SO good!“

“This LA bakery is a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful pastry experience. Despite the long wait for parking and entry (over 30 minutes), the staff was incredibly quick and friendly, managing to keep the crowd moving smoothly.

The bakery itself is a sight to behold, with its vast expanse of baked goods and an open kitchen that showcases their delectable creations. We indulged in a variety of items, including almond croissant, cinnamon croissant, chicken sandwich, eclair, cream cheese guava strudels, chicken croquettes, spinach puff pastry, biscuits, chicken empanadas, and wheat bread.

The biscuits were a standout, filled with gooey caramel and chocolate. The eclair was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. Every bite was a blissful experience, thanks to the freshly baked, warm pastries.

While the chicken sandwich was a bit of a letdown compared to the other pastries, it was still enjoyable. Overall, this bakery offers an amazing experience and is definitely worth a visit.“

“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? Noodle St. did not disappoint. The garlic chicken appetizer was incredibly flavorful—perfectly cooked with a rich garlic punch that made it hard to stop eating. The Signature beef noodles with spicy paste were outstanding: tender beef, great noodle texture, and just the right level of heat to bring everything together without overpowering the dish.

On top of the great food, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying. Absolutely worth getting, and I’ll definitely be back.“

“I rarely can find vegan sweets at theme parks. The Berry Tart appears to be more common, but they do offer some seasonal treats. The Berry Tart did have undisclosed nuts, pistachios. If you have allergies I would probably not go to this place. Based on my experience with other restaurants at Knotts, they do not take food allergies very seriously.“

Food: I had ordered 3 food items and forgot to take a picture. It was the avocado toast and peanut butter & banana toast. And a chocolate croissant. Súper bomb! Would definitely order all 3 again.
Drinks: Tried their coffee fall flight…and wow! Genius. Hope it’s a year round option and can choose other options when seasonal drinks aren’t in.
Staff: super nice & attentive.
Place: Very clean, easy to find seating. Parking wasn’t hard. Went here around 9-10am.“

“This is my local Nekter and I frequent it every few weeks. Great staff that's always friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is awesome and always on point. Only thing I wish for is they drop their prices a few dollars. $15 bucks for a 32oz is a lot“

“There was an event earlier in the morning and I got a coupon for a free 2-pack cinnamon rolls so it was perfect that I was planning to go for dinner that same day! Cinnamon rolls were yummy and I love the fact that the icing comes separate since I’m not the biggest fan of sugary icing. I tried a different dish, Pasta primavera and added grilled chicken. This was good and would recommend it. Their side salad was yummy, had all the good toppings and at the end, my family ordered peach pie and sadly they ran out! This is a seasonal item so they were very disappointed. But it just goes to show you that it’s popular and to reserve it once you get seated because my family actually called ahead and asked if it was available and it was but after we ate, they sold out!“
