“If anyone likes noodles, try Kalgooksu jungle. They only serve for lunch and it's for two people. It's cooked on the table. Lot's of mushrooms and veggie. The stew tastes very pure. Once you're done with noodles, the server will make porridge using the remainder of the stew. No words can describe it. Simply try!“

“I love this place. I remember coming here because thirsty cow had a 2 hour wait. Now, this is my go to kbbq spot. The part that sucks is that they seem to be getting more popular, which is great for them, but I miss the times when there were essentially no wait times. “I’ve been to the La Habra location and it’s nice to know that the Rowland Heights location is just as yummy and has the same amazing deals like their lunch specials at $22.99. I do really enjoy that I can instantly eat because the marinated meats are the meat buffet . So no waiting involved except for the grill to be heated!!! There are over 7 different types of proteins at the meat bar and other set menu of items you can order with your server like beef belly and brisket or thin sliced pork belly. Their higher priced sets include LA Galbi, Seafood, Steamed Egg and so much more. I love how I can end my meal with a JIN RAMEN . If you never had Ramen at the end, you need to. It’s 10/10!“

“The first time we came here was about 20+ years ago. We love their food, especially their authentic Korean tofu. I also love their condiments as an appetizer. We moved out of state and came back to visit. This restaurant is on our to-go list. The service was excellent; the waitress always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. “I really love this place. From the banchan to the tofu soup, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fishcake banchan was the best I've had from a restaurant, smoky and savory. I got the intenstine tofu soup and the intestine was cooked just right, cleaned and so tender. Spouse got the seafood hand cut noodles and the broth was wonderful. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“I don't know if I had high expectations or if the chef didn't show up during lunch time, but I was recommended cold noodles and pork cutlet, but I think they were below average.

The overall atmosphere was good and the side dishes were delicious, but the main dish was lacking. The taste of galbi cold noodles cannot be missed, but the ribs seem to have lost their flavor and the cold noodles leave a lot to be desired.

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻‍♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.“

“Great spot for Korean bbq but they're not an all you can eat spot, nor do they have combos. Everything is a la carte so it can get pricey. But the food is good. Oh, and always ask for fried rice after the meal. You have to pay for it but it's worth it. Side note, ground gets slippery so wear something that grips. Greasy floors.“

“Located on the top floor of the busy Source OC. It’s a very nice place, with lots of glass windows for excellent views. I liked being seated by the window where we can people watch as the sun sets.

The staff is pretty friendly, though at times felt rushed when they were serving us. We were seated right away 5pm on a Saturday, but I can see it getting busier and busier as the night went on.

The meat quality is good, not the best I’ve had, but overall good quality meats which is reflected in the premium pricing.

The banchan spread is good too, and with kbbq it includes a tofu soup and steamed egg. I’m normally not a fan of the potato salad, but this I enjoyed, The sweet corn made it stand out. The cucumbers were a refreshing sweet. Kimchi, japchae were all delicious. Not sure if we could’ve asked for more as we weren’t offered any more when they took our empty plates.

The beef brisket had a great amount of marbling, which was great. Wish the portion was larger though. Not sure if we should’ve just gotten the combo if the portions are the same. The pork brisket is a pass for us. Not bad by any means, but I’d get something else if we come back

The marinated short rib was probably my favorite dish. The perfect amount of marbling and marinaded well. Juicy and tender.

It was a nice meal overall. While I wouldn’t consider this place a must-try, especially with so many options at the Source, it’s a good place for a quality meal.“

“First time here we celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday. The food was delicious. They have big portions to share. Our server was so sweet we had little ones with us so she asked if we wanted the food to be cooked in the kitchen. My son (7) and granddaughter (3) picky eaters really liked the food.
