“If anyone likes noodles, try Kalgooksu jungle. They only serve for lunch and it's for two people. It's cooked on the table. Lot's of mushrooms and veggie. The stew tastes very pure. Once you're done with noodles, the server will make porridge using the remainder of the stew. No words can describe it. Simply try!“

“The food is good. They serve your order pretty fast. Maximum 5 items per order but no limit (cuz all you can eat). Minus 1 star because the inside is too smoky. The exhaust hood is not strong enough to get all the smoke out. Overall, I still recommend this place with such value and quality of the food.“

“I’ve been to the La Habra location and it’s nice to know that the Rowland Heights location is just as yummy and has the same amazing deals like their lunch specials at $22.99. I do really enjoy that I can instantly eat because the marinated meats are the meat buffet . So no waiting involved except for the grill to be heated!!! There are over 7 different types of proteins at the meat bar and other set menu of items you can order with your server like beef belly and brisket or thin sliced pork belly. Their higher priced sets include LA Galbi, Seafood, Steamed Egg and so much more. I love how I can end my meal with a JIN RAMEN . If you never had Ramen at the end, you need to. It’s 10/10!“

“The first time we came here was about 20+ years ago. We love their food, especially their authentic Korean tofu. I also love their condiments as an appetizer. We moved out of state and came back to visit. This restaurant is on our to-go list. The service was excellent; the waitress always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. “I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

“Came here on a Thursday night since our daughters were visiting and we had yet to try. Place was pretty busy and we had reservations for a table. We were seated right away. Selections are varied and tiered. The premium selection gets you access to the meats on that tier as well as those on the tiers below. Banchan offering was good. The place is new and a bit trendy. Now the service well they could use an improvement by checking in more regularly. I felt like I had to chase down a staff member for more meats or refills on drinks. I get staff get busy but service is the role.“

“I really love this place. From the banchan to the tofu soup, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fishcake banchan was the best I've had from a restaurant, smoky and savory. I got the intenstine tofu soup and the intestine was cooked just right, cleaned and so tender. Spouse got the seafood hand cut noodles and the broth was wonderful. “Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻‍♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.“

“Gangnam House is a great spot in Orange County for Korean BBQ. The atmosphere is clean and chic. And the service is friendly and prompt.

You'll be given tools to cook your own meat. However, if you are not inclined to cook yourself, your server will cook the meat for you. This will free you up to focus on just eating.

The cuts of meat are very good and do have a premium feel. They also keep your sidedishes replenished.

“Great spot for Korean bbq but they're not an all you can eat spot, nor do they have combos. Everything is a la carte so it can get pricey. But the food is good. Oh, and always ask for fried rice after the meal. You have to pay for it but it's worth it. Side note, ground gets slippery so wear something that grips. Greasy floors.“
