“Thai food is a hit or miss ,and some better than others. So far Lucky Thai has been better than most, with a few drawbacks when then run out of product. All food is made fresh from my trips here. This establishment is inside the 168 Market and is very simple, small seating to eat there or you can have take out. Service takes a little time for prep in most cases, but worth the wait.“

“Chili tango is my absolute go to in the Covina area. I’ve been here a half dozen times, both the food and service are always excellent and never disappoint.
The parking is decent for a small mall area with at least 5 different businesses.
The inside is on the smaller side but has ample seating with 8 tables.
The employees are always welcoming and the chef is very skilled.
My go to favorites are chicken satay, spicy beef salad, spicy bamboo shoots with chicken, either chicken or seafood Tom kha gai and mango rice 🙌“

For our matin entrees, we got the Crispy Pork Belly Kaprao, Filet Mignon Cashew Nuts, and the Crispy Pork Chili & Sea Salt. This was also the order we enjoyed in. I recommend that if you get the Crispy Pork Chili & Sea Salt, ask for less salt. I like my food salty and savory, but the sea salt seemed to be too heavy this time around.“

“My service organization regularly came to Silver Spoons' predecessor, so when we found out that Silver Spoons was open, we made the restaurant our next meeting location so we can try it out!

I usually order my go-to to test out a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the pork pad see ew ($14.95) and mild golden curry with chicken ($14.95). I would've ordered a fried rice, but the mild papaya salad ($13.95) caught my attention instead. Note that the dishes come with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu included in the price, but if you want beef, it'll be an extra dollar, and for shrimp, an extra $2. What was surprising was that the curry doesn't come with white rice. You'd have to fork out an extra $2.50 for that. I thought everything tasted great, though both the papaya salad and pad see ew was a little heavy on the sauce.

My friend ordered mango sticky rice ($12.99) for dessert and I was surprised and happy they had that available (I went to another Thai restaurant during Christmas time and while they had the mango sticky rice on the menu, they said it was not in season so they weren't selling any). I took a few bites of it and enjoyed it -- not too sweet and not too heavy! Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free Thai tea.

“My Wife & I tried this whole in the wall and were amazed by the amazing food served here. We’ve passed by this place so many times & we couldn’t believe what wonderful flavors are available here!

We tried the Spicy noodle dish with chicken which was tasty with a forgiving spice to it.

In addition, we tried the Tom Yum soup with veggies & tofu. This soup could win awards… The flavor was BOLD and exploding in that flavor.

“FIVE STARS! From the delicious and hearty plus healthy delightfulness of the curries to the cozy atmosphere of this place I give it a five star rating! Our service was nice and very fast to deliver our food. The curries were perfectly spiced and seasoned they didn’t even need salt! I got the yellow curry with a level 2 spice (which was personally a little too spicy for me but eh that’s fine) it was delicious! It had a sweet undertone with an excellent curry flavor, my JAW DROPPED after I tasted it. It felt fresh and homemade and stayed good long after it cooled down. It was definitely made with love. You could tell that the cooks were from Thailand. This definitely met my expectations and exceeded them. The potatoes and carrots were hard, but they started softening in the broth. This was also my first time going to a Thai restaurant but my Mom who has gone to many, also said it was very good. She was impressed and so was I. “As someone who is particular about Thai food, Thai Seven in Downtown Brea genuinely impressed me. This is one of those hidden gems where you can immediately tell there is real attention being paid to the kitchen.

The first thing that stood out was the aroma—the unmistakable fragrance of a properly fired wok, with that smoky depth that gives Thai cooking so much character. The Spaghetti Kee Mao was exceptional: aromatic, savory, beautifully seasoned, and full of wok-fired flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce. The popcorn chicken arrived golden and remarkably crisp, yet remained tender and juicy inside.

The biggest surprise was the Crying Tiger beef. It was beautifully grilled, tender, flavorful, and easily comparable to something I would expect from a quality steakhouse. The execution was excellent.

Beyond the food, the service was attentive and welcoming. Owner Nova personally made us feel at home, adding the kind of genuine hospitality that separates a good restaurant from a memorable one.

My friend had chicken with noodles, which came with 7 thinly cut pieces of chicken, 4 little sprigs of broccoli, and 5 slices of carrot. Again, pretty sparse for a $16 dish.
