Ambrosia Café

Cute little place in the heart of Sactown. I was in town for a conference and during a break, I walked a bit to discover downtown and found this cute little cafe. The staff was awesome and helped me pick a healthy salad and sandwich combo and offered a delightful coffee to go with the meal. Trying to support this place thru the pandemic but service is not great. I don't mind waiting - I realize things are taking longer - but person assisting me in the morning seems put out by my order. The food is also hit and miss. I ordered a croissant this morning and when I went to eat it, it was heavy/dense - I don't think it was freshly made. My suspicion is that it was carry over from the previous day. I've had their croissants before and they are usually light and flaky....read full review

Haven't been here in a while since i usually come here in the morning before the Convention would start but this place is great! Friendly staf and if you can Try the Chocolate Croissant! Best I've ever had, way better than the dinky little ones at the main stream coffee place that has a green siren for its logo. And the coffee is divine. Go here!
