“Great visit, very nice atmosphere and one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in. Food was wonderful (eggs Benedict, hubby got a pancake meal, pancakes were yummy!!)

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“Had breakfast this morning with my son and I tried the Denver crepe. It was really good and came with their breakfast potatoes which were very flavorful. My son got the Canadian Benedict and really enjoyed it. The street was pretty loud as we ate outside, but probably quieter inside or on weekdays.“

“I will never ever order anything from Lumberjacks Restaurant - Sacramento again. After getting this! Spent almost $100 on takeout breakfast, my meal came with 1 sausage and 1 bacon but the sausage looks like it had been sitting somewhere for weeks just getting dried tf out and when they found it they decided to put it on the top of my food! Wtf 😡 this sausage was so dry inside that it crunch when I snapped it in half. I'm ready to report them to the health department!!! pictures in the comments because I don't see the photos I added posting.“

“I heard it was great for after seeing a play. On previous plays we saw their full-page ad in the playbill. We make a reservation for Saturday after the play and were told they weren't doing the play special. They did honor it but limited. Bar tender was very good trying to make up for things, but the place is more of a business bar environment.“

“The service I had here was phenomenal !! My waitress was so kind and attentive and knew the menu well! She kept up with me as I blurted out my order too fast and got everything brought to us so quick! Wish I could remember her name. Also the cold brew coffee is so so so good“

“I took myself and my daughter and a friend to this IHOP to eat lunch and the waiter we had named demitri was extremely helpful and courteous and kind and was paying attention to everything we were asking for and checking up on our table. When we paid and left I dropped my to go box with food on the ground and picked up it and placed it back on the table. He ran out and grabbed our attention to make sure I wouldn’t forget my food And when I had told him what happened he Offered to make me another plate quickly so that I could take it home and not waste my money. I used to be a waitress so a lot of people don’t really care or attention towards their customers or a dining experience even though it’s just an IHOP but this was one of the best waiters I’ve had in a while and it was a really nice establishment.“

“Restaurant was very clean. Was seated right away. My server was Arnilyn. Did not have to wait long for my food. I had 2 pancakes, bacon and eggs with a glass of orange juice. This place is Highly recommended.

“5/5 for me every time I go because our server is always so friendly, attentive and it’s usually dead when we go. We prefer going at night time because the servers are always kinder than the morning shift. We have gone a couple times in the morning and have always been disappointed so we prefer the night shift. I’m not sure what her name is but my boyfriend and I came in around 9pm-10pm and would love to say thanks. The server is usually different depending on the day I go but this server served us twice so want to recognize her for her work. It’s not a small business but we come back because of the night service. I also got the cali roasted turkey sandwich and they must’ve changed but it’s a lot better now. The turkey is thick slices and super flavorful. I love the added tomatoes, it’s like super sweet which helps with the dryness of the turkey. Everything pairs well with this. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs, something like that. He always enjoys it since they added it on the menu. I don’t expect ihop to have the best steak but it’s decent. Always looking forward to coming back because of the service and food.

She greeted us with a smile, made sure we were comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Despite how busy it was, Vanessa never missed a beat. She checked on us regularly, kept a positive attitude, and turned what could’ve been a disappointing visit into a truly enjoyable one. That’s the kind of service that sticks with you.

“Our experience was wonderful. Shawn, the manager, greeted us upon entering & had us choose a seat anywhere we liked. He was welcoming & gracious. He brought us coffee & said Elijah would be around in a moment to take our orders. Shortly thereafter, Elijah arrived with a warm smile & lovely efficient manner. We inquired about the conversion from writing orders to entering them on a hand held computer. He was personable & had an infectious laugh as he related the change, his experience & how the process works. He remained attentive & engaged throughout our meal. We asked for boxes to take home leftovers. He returned with two & showed us how they fit. Later, he brought a bag to carry them. There were only 2-3 other tables at the time we were present. It made for a relaxed & enjoyable meal. Shawn stopped by as we were about to leave to ask about the service. We said it was great & Elijah is the best. It's been a long while since we encountered individuals so naturally attentive & caring in a restaurant. The bathrooms were impeccably clean. Many thanks, Shawn & Elijah. Your efficient service & engaging personalities are appreciated. We wish you much success. We will return. Until then, we will tell others about this terrific restaurant with the exemplary service.
