I am so bummed this place closed! I loved their breakfast BLT and stuffed hashbrowns. My bf and I went there almost every weekend. Such a huge loss for Tahoe Park, since the only other spot is Bacon and Butter and the weekend crowds there are a nightmare and the prices are too high, imo, so we refuse to go. Rumor has it it's going to be a salon (when there's already one across the street). Not needed, imo. SO sad.
I have reviewed this spot previously and continue to like the food. I also appreciate that it is a small business in my neighborhood. The owner, John, is a wonderful hardworking person. However, one should never be in a hurry when going there. The wait time just to have an order taken and to receive food is longer than some other places. I don't mind waiting for food, as I realize this is a small place with small staff and things are cooked to order. The kitchen is great. (5 stars)...read full review
Care: if you get toast with your dish, ask that it be \"gently\" toasted. My toast was actually incredibly crispy and I only took one bite. It was really rough on the roof covering of my mouth, that's why I offered only 4 celebrities.
