“We had Jackson Catering cater our wedding reception and they were amazing from the get-go! The coordinators, Julie and Danica, were quick to respond to questions and so, so patient! I was trying to juggle multiple things as I planned this reception, so I asked them question after question after question. Sometimes they had already answered the question, but they were always so nice in their response—and quick, too! The food? I had so many compliments on the food! One of my guests—a well-traveled man in his sixties—told me, “I’ve eaten at more the 200 buffets and this is the best I’ve ever been to.” I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on their menu but a few highlights from ours:

The service? Top-notch all the way. I’ll provide an example: A server approached two of my guests offering them a potsticker appetizer. My guests asked if they could have the sliders. The server went back and retrieved the sliders. She then asked my guests if they wanted more. They did, so she went back and got the tray of sliders for them! That’s a lot of back and forth amid a crowded room, but the server made it seem like it was no effort at all.

It was fantastic, the food was a hit. Scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, chicken sausage (and peppers!), pancakes, oj and water. They were in and out quickly and were very professional and organized.“

So she knows the business very well. The kitchen is very clean, all the equipment works. “Was visiting in Northern California and a friend recommend “Delicious Dishez” food truck for dinner. And just like its namesake it was DELICIOUS! We ordered pretty much everything on the menu because we were starving and had plenty left over! The fried seafood platter consisted of fried fish, shrimp, oysters, and hush puppies. The oysters were HUGE lightly battered and fried so you could still taste the mollusk. We had all the sides fried, mac&cheese, collard greens, and red beans & rice. If you ever get the opportunity to try their red beans & rice you WONT be disappointed! The braised collard greens were mixed with cabbage also VERY tasty! Now the star of the show, were the “Sticky Icky” wings and man on man they are worth every bit of it! If you ever in Sacramento and want some good filling tasty food cooked fresh to order please check them out. Also the owners are amazing people!!!!! Very kind, friendly, and welcoming these are the type places I want to spend my money at…over and over and over again!“

But what really made my experience great was the exceptional service - Carlos, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and that my food was perfect.
