“Elizabeth and Joe are not only phenomenal at running this business, they’re also just genuinely awesome humans. From start to finish, we could tell they were dedicated to making our wedding day unforgettable.

Our tasting was such a special experience. We met them at their venue, Chariot, and when we arrived, two seats were set just for us. Joe greeted us with sparkling wine, and from then on, we were treated to what felt like a true tasting menu. Elizabeth included everything we asked for—and even more—while Joe crafted cocktails so we could sample options for our signature drinks. Afterward, we sat down to go over logistics and details, and honestly, everything from there felt so easy. In the month leading up to the wedding, all we had to do was provide our final headcount and confirm our drinks. As a type-A person, I can’t stress enough how refreshing and comforting their calm, organized approach was.

On wedding day, everything was executed flawlessly. They set up welcome drinks that looked beautiful and were easy for guests to grab. Before we even entered cocktail hour, Elizabeth and Joe made sure Tyler and I had a platter of appetizers waiting for us—which was such a thoughtful touch. During cocktail hour, servers were fully prepared with trays of appetizers and drinks, which kept the bar from getting overwhelmed. The bartenders were working hard all night, they were so friendly, and absolutely nailed every drink they made.

We went with a buffet for dinner, and having the catering team serve it elevated the whole experience while keeping the line moving quickly. The food quality was just as incredible as our tasting—something not every caterer can pull off! We had so many guests rave about the food, the cocktails, and the service overall. Multiple people told us how impressed they were not only with the food, but also with the professionalism and warmth of the catering staff.

“We had Jackson Catering cater our wedding reception and they were amazing from the get-go! The coordinators, Julie and Danica, were quick to respond to questions and so, so patient! I was trying to juggle multiple things as I planned this reception, so I asked them question after question after question. Sometimes they had already answered the question, but they were always so nice in their response—and quick, too! The food? I had so many compliments on the food! One of my guests—a well-traveled man in his sixties—told me, “I’ve eaten at more the 200 buffets and this is the best I’ve ever been to.” I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on their menu but a few highlights from ours:

The service? Top-notch all the way. I’ll provide an example: A server approached two of my guests offering them a potsticker appetizer. My guests asked if they could have the sliders. The server went back and retrieved the sliders. She then asked my guests if they wanted more. They did, so she went back and got the tray of sliders for them! That’s a lot of back and forth amid a crowded room, but the server made it seem like it was no effort at all.

I remember when my husband and I went to do our tasting at Jackson. The man working security in the lobby told us there was absolutely no one better in terms of catering. He was right.“

People are still raving about the chicken! We had the please of speaking to Jill day of and she was so professional and kind. She brought us food and drinks and always made herself available. “I've been working out from Lulu's kitchen for almost 3 1/2yrs now. Since New ownership took place. It has been awesome. Maria the new owner is very friendly, professional and she is also a cook. So she knows the business very well. The kitchen is very clean, all the equipment works. The other chefs, cooks are very friendly people and we all share the area it's enough spaces for everyone to move around . Thank you for being my commissary kitchen for all these years.“

We waited 20mins at the restaurant while the staff members were clueless on our order that we ordered 45mins beforehand. Not knowing we have to go to Oyster Bar in Natomas to pick up. We came from EG. And the staff at the restaurant had no clue & didn’t believe us our text conversation we had with the employers, the ones we contacted for the Oysters order.
