“The dim sum is delicious and there are many varieties of dim sum. The service is also very good and the manager and waiters are very friendly too. The place is very big, it should be good to have a party~“

“Fantastic dim sum and noodles. I got the classics, such as siu mai and xiao long bao, and a bowl of mapo tofu. The tofu was szechuan style, so it was full of that delicious numbing flavor. The food was served quickly and service was so friendly. I will definitely be back when im in the area.“

“Love that this place has plenty of sweet and savory options! There will always be a line, it just depends on your timing but it goes by fast. Their foods are a great and tasty quick bite! Prices did go up, but with the economy and inflation, it's still cheap and totally worth it!“

“Best place ever. The owners are amazing. My 2 year old son was having a tantrum and crying outside the store and the sweet lady came out with a little rice treat and gave it to him and he calmed down and said thank you. Please please please support this little treasured business.“

“The food here is outstanding. I make a trip downtown just to come here whenever I can. All of the food is good, and they have the best honey walnut shrimp EVER.“

“This is your hole in the wall good dim sum. It's on cheaper side compared to well season or the pearl but just as good. The restaurant is big so the wait has never been too long and they could accommodate large parties. It helps if you spoke Cantonese but they also speak English. Food came out pretty quickly for us so that was big plus for me.“

“We were traveling to Lake Tahoe. We passed through Sacramento and ate Asian food called Yum Cha Cafe (on the right side of the Shunfa SF Supermarket on 65th Street. We ate their roast duck, barbecued pork buns, shrimp balls, and barbecue. , fried noodles, siomai, their roast duck is so famous and really delicious. Very good seasoning, very fresh, plump and elastic meat. This is the most valuable roast duck in this area. I only had it in Hong Kong last time. I'm so happy today. I tasted such a good taste again. My family and I are very happy. I recommend it to everyone. You must try it. It's incredible.“

“Excellent quality and flavor. We ordered Siu mai, steamed pork and soup dumplings, but the real stars were the shrimp and pea shoot dumplings. I was definitely surprised about this location at a ghost kitchen and food pick up spot located in the north downtown area. Be aware that this is a automated/screen order venue that only accepts mobile payments and no cash.“

“My favorite go/to to satisfy my Dimsum craving. Clean. Fast service. Filling small dimsum plates. Only thing is tea is $2 per person but only one tea pot. Comp tea could have been better. Management should consider offering tea for free. This would be a good service to customers.“

“Good customer service, and all the employees are kind , respectful, and helpful. They are always willing to listen, and help the customers get better service. They treat everybody equally, and respectfully regardless, and they really enjoy their jobs, so that is why no wrong orders or complaints at all. They are located in Hawe Ave, Sacramento, CA. The location is not big , but has pretty much decent capacity for customers who are willing to dine in. Yes ! A big applaud for their cleanliness, and hygiene work, and they do take care of their customers’ health by keeping everything clean, also this place is well decorated as well. They offer different types of services dining in, to go , and delivery which like most other food chain restaurants or regular coffee shops. In addition, the prices are pretty much decent for the different types of drinks you order, also California is getting expensive, so nothing is cheap anymore. One thing about this location really caught my attention that the quality of their ingredients, and products are really good, and fresh, so the quality of drinks , and food is good. They are wheelchair accessible, and friendly, but the seats are not comfortable for a bodily disabled individual, so use your own accommodations. The parking is big, and you can easily find parking spots including handicapped areas. My experience was good , and I got my favorite drink with extra ingredients, also they do listen to customers concerns, and take care of them, so I will definitely return, and will definitely recommend. Thank you so much for your service .👍👍🙌🙌“

“I came over via bus on the way back home from university, decided to drop by to eat the lunch special with Mongolian beef and chow mien. Bill came out to twenty (fifteen with the special + hot tea, five dollar tip). The beef and chow mien were alright, they were nothing special but there was an degree of flavor with the way the sauce and chili coated the beef and kneaded in with the (meatless) chow mien section. At the time of my visit, this place has the hallmarks of an 1980s holdover Chinese restaurant joint, with paper posters, gold-leaf printed olive carpet, plastic ivy, and those good ol, chunky chopsticks, cool natural lighting and ceramic plates.“

“This is my go to spot for Sunday dim sum. Pretty solid offerings and the staff are friendly and helpful. They take a minute telling you all the options they have on their cart and if you are looking for something else, they will track it down for you. Consistently good food/service for the last 8 years I have been going.“

“This place has amazing dumplings. Food is great. Atmosphere is unique and fitting for Old Sacramento. I love bringing guests here. But the service is lacking. This tied for midtowns best Dumpling. But overall all score for Sacramento's best dumpling restaurant didn't make the top three. We ate outside because we felt unwelcome inside.
Quest to find the best dumpling House in midtown. I organized a walking tour through midtown for my family. 8 adults and 3 kids. I created score cards to mark on a 1 to 10 scale. We scored dumplings, pot stickers, appetizers, dipping sauce regular and spicy and overall return score. If anyone would like to make the trek we started at I Shanghai Delight to Hao Bao Dumplings to Dumpling King to The Dumpling House to Tea Cup Cafe to Journey to the Dumpling and finally the Hidden Dumpling House.
In short the best Dumpling House in midtown based on 8 differing opinions is in 1st place Hao Bao Dumplings on K st.
With 6 categories and 8 judges and 10 being top score it's a total possibility of 480 points. Only 2 points separated 2nd and 3rd with 2nd place going to the Dumpling House on 24th and Jst. 3rd Tea Cup Cafe. Each restaurant is well worth a return visit and all were great. The scores are just 8 people's opinions and we as lovers of dumplings were the real winners.
Side note cost was also considered in return score and 1 restaurant gave us extra dishes and refunded our initial check. We didn't let that affect our scoring and we appreciate the offer and we paid for everything we ordered and gave 20 percent extra but it all went towards the gratuity. And other restaurants gave a little extra appetizers which is appreciated but unnecessary because going to 7 places in 4 hours eating 3 items at each stop turns into a lot of food thank goodness for the 3.6 mile walk to burn those calories and keep up the appetite. We had a car parked near our last stop otherwise it would be another 2.4 miles straight back to the Old Sacramento parking garage. The cost without gratuity was 396.00 we carried our own water bottles and only bought drinks at Hidden Dumpling as a final treat. Each restaurant has elements to make it your favorite, so try the all but one at a time is best.“

“This place has a wide selection and if you’re looking for a good spot in Sacramento this is a good option. It’s a nice little hidden gem in sac and it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for dim sum and don’t want to drive out to Chinatown in San Francisco. It’s pretty reasonably priced and in order to use your credit card you have to spend at least $20. I like that each of the items are labeled in English and list the ingredients inside. There is also a wide selection of frozen items. One drawback is that we ordered the stuffed tofu skins and it was packaged in the standard white paper take out container, which leaked“
