I was waiting on a late flight and happened to fall right upon this place The owner (bar tender) is absolutely delightful. The whole crowd made me feel right at home. I will recommend this to everyone, when we are in Sacramento!

J'S RAILROAD CAFÉ is a nice mom’s and pops spot with a genuinely cool dive bar atmosphere, featuring both darts and ping pong. The customer service is great, and the friendly owner bartends and takes orders. This family-owned place has been around for almost a decade. The food is good and the menu is extensive, cooked to order. The spicy chicken wings are especially great when the food is good, though the food isn't consistently good. The Garlic and Orange chicken has the perfect amount of breading, light and super crispy fried. The egg rolls are surprisingly delicately crispy with clearly visible meat and veggies inside. The Mongolian beef is slightly crispy, tender, and encased in a super flavorful sauce. Other dishes include Sesame chicken, Black beans and ribs, and chicken chow mein. The food is very tasty with authentic Chinese flavors. Prices are super reasonable for the amount of food received. This is a no frills establishment with a small beer list including domestic classics like Budweiser and Shock Top, plus a full bar.
