Great coffee Cafe if you're at Old Sacramento! A little pricey, but great coffee and food for breakfast and lunch. Service is good, it is a tourist spot so it can get busy, especially on weekends. But more quiet if you go early in the morning before other shops open up. I had the breakfast burrito there this time with a cappuccino blended drink. The food includes clam chowder, Italian sodas, burgers, a breakfast burrito, and a smoked salmon bagel. Service and food quality vary greatly. Some found the service good and the staff kind, with one reviewer meeting Bill and Michael. Another reviewer noted the woman tending tables was lovely, but the person taking the order missed items. However, a recent visit was very disappointing. The business was sold over a year ago and is not the same. The new owner shows old timey relics and tvs in black and white. The homemade biscuits and gravy, delicious chilaquiles, soda fountain, and beer on tap are gone. Breakfast now comes with tater tots. The service was poor, with forgotten silverware, wrong egg order, and coffee drinks left at the counter. A 16 oz latte was given as a 10 or 12 oz. Beware of a 4% charge for any card transaction. Menu prices are significantly higher than photos. The quality, quantity, and atmosphere are not what they were.
