Today I went simple and got a Ham n Cheese Croissant ? That sandwich was the best thing I've eaten in a while!! The Ham was shaved so thin and the Croissant was so flakey and buttery!! I'm definitely going back for another one!
I was really really craving coffee. So I asked a few locals where the best place to get coffee is. All 3 of them said "Steamers." So we found Steamers and it's at a great location right on the main thoroughfare fronting the main road across from the waterfront. It must be a pretty popular place for locals since there were a few groups before us that looked like they worked in the office space close to Steamers. I ordered an iced Viet coffee. Waking up in Sacramento on a Saturday morning means heading to Old Sacramento to look at the trains and old west vibes. It was crowded, but we were able to get a table once the staff cleared off a table and waved us over. The chilly morning air called for hot food all around except for our little one who indulged on the granola, fruit and yogurt bowl.
