Wheelchair accessibility: They have special parking for wheelchairs customers, I never used one but I see signs and people using it.“

“Got the chicken tantanmen and the spicy pork and both were 10/10. I wasn’t even hungry—more, I-could-eat level hunger—and I downed my ramen in less than 10. I couldn’t stop eating it it was so good. Partner is Mexican so I’m use to eating spicy. 7 is a comfortable spicy but the souper spicy side is def spicy, so I recommend getting that if you want to enjoy ramen with a challenging spice.

“Hawaiian Drive Inn is a good place to get cheap food. The portions they give are so big, mainly because of the rice plus lots of meat, and the food is delicious. I hot the BBQ short ribs plate, and I enjoyed eating it. They only accept cash. The service is friendly. I will certainly be back in the future.“

“The woman that took my order was really nice. The price was standard for a lunch, I got the chicken katsu plate, it was 12.50, so pretty standard. It was really good even tho i had like no appetite. The shop was kinda dirty but its not like I has eating there.“

“I ordered the short ribs plate lunch. It was a good amount of food for the price. Great for that meat and carbs "stick to your ribs" kind of meal. The food came out after a few minutes. It was fresh and hot. The service was friendly but not overly so. They put the food in takeaway containers and a bag as the default, which I always think is a bit wasteful, but in this case it was too much food for one meal and I had to take some home anyways. All in all they do the basic Hawaiian plate lunch well and I would back. Next time I'd try the seafood combo or family meal when I am with someone.“

“The food here is awesome. Don't sit around in the place, it's like a fast food restaurant in person: bleak and no one cares what it looks like. All you need to do is pick up the food! The chicken katsu was great and the meat medley/combo dish. Love this!



Parking: There's an in n out right next to it and the line was out of the parking lot (insane). That blocks off spots to park but we parked anyway and people were very accommodating.“

“I like this place. Basic, no frills, Hawaiian BBQ. My favorite is the Shrimp Noodle soup. Large bowl of veggies' shrimp and super hot broth. Noodles on the side in the to go orders. Such nice noodles. Cooked perfectly so they finish cooking when you add them to the hot broth. Highly recommended. All of the other Hawaiian BBQ dishes also on the menu. Not much on atmosphere though.“

“Relatively clean location. Staff were friendly and patient. When I called I to order, the staff who answered provided a very accurate estimate on when food would be ready. Definitely recommend calling ahead of time if you're going to do takeout.“

“From the moment we entered, we were greeted by warm, welcoming staff who made us feel like family. The service was efficient, and the waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. The food? Incredible! The kalua pork was tender and full of flavor, and the poke was some of the freshest I’ve had. “Really solidly good Hawaiian food. I had family visiting from France who wanted to try Hawaiian food and they loved it! Especially high praise coming from Parisians used to amazing restaurants. “It's hard to describe how great this place is, I have been there twice and this is the valentine day lunch. Notice the little details, tiny mint leaves on one piece, tobiko on another. Everything is fresh and pops with flavor. You can really tell they care about the food they put out. If this was a regular restaurant in Belmont there would be lines out the door every day.“

“The lady serving me kindly helped me choose gluten free items by crossing them out from the menu as I'm celiac. I had a tune poke bowl and it was very nice. Unfortunately only one of the sauces is gluten free (honey & avocado) but still better than nothing! The ambience is nothing to write home about, more of a take out place.

“New favorite lunch place on campus! The bowls are always fresh and I enjoy the flexibility with size and ingredient options.“

“I frequent this place because it is nearby and is one of the few places still open later at night past 9pm when I am off work. I like that there is a good balance between the ingredients, and the salmon always tastes fine. I recommend large because that is enough food for 2 meals, so you get a much better deal for a few dollars more.
It's also really nice to be able to use the paper to choose your order, that way there is no anxiety about taking too long to order or holding up a line. I've never even seen a line here, maybe because I come late night.
There's always an empty parking spot or multiple spots right in front, so it's super quick too. I think it's because of how quickly the staff makes the bowls and from how you order by writing on paper, so nobody has to wait long.
The staff always seem pretty nice, friendly, and patient.
So in my frequent times here, I've never had a bad experience.
