“I think that food from a Mediterranean food truck might just be my love language. I visited in the evening and the service was quick and the food was excellent. I tried the Jerusalem Shakshuka (meatballs and poached eggs in a spiced tomato sauce) and the chicken on rice. Both came with salad, pita bread, and both easily qualified as more than a full meal. I'll happily come back any time I'm around and looking for delicious food.“
“This place deserve few Michelin stars ?The steak was amazing. Kudos to the chef.Don't forget to order lamb shank. It's great.Parking is paid off street and may struggle to find one. It's right in the Redwood City downtown. Ambience is good. Not a lot of seating so do call and reserve a table. Everything is made in-house. Bloody amazing taste. Definitely recommend for Fine dining.“
“Fabulous pita sandwiches to take to the park to eat. 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ .However, you must go elsewhere to eat; the shop only sells food to go.I ordered online and waited 20 minutes past the time my lunch was to be ready. The food was worth waiting for but I was disappointed by the wait.“

Nestled in the heart of Palo Alto, this eatery captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The menu offers a tantalizing array of wraps, salads, and sides, each bursting with authentic flavors. “For Valentine's Day we dined at Urfa Bistro and as always, we were thoroughly impressed. The meal started with warm, soft bread accompanied by a delicious olive infused dipping oil bursting with flavor. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye dish, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, accompanied by garden vegetables, mashed potatoes and Bearnaise sauce. Each bite was a delicious delight. The friendly staff, attentive service, cozy ambiance and rose for every female guest added to the overall experience, making it a memorable dining outing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. It's a fabulous restaurant.“
“In Palo Alto for work. This was my first stop for lunch. Wow, just wow! Being Jordanian I appreciate authentic Middle Eastern food. The owner of Oren’s is Israeli. He owns a few of these. I spent time speaking with the GM, Susan, who was such a pleasure to chat with. I ordered the chicken skewers, which were made from thigh meat and cooked to perfection… Incredibly juicy and well seasoned along with the side of hummus and Israeli salad was a phenomenal meal. Warm pita and the delicious mint tea, reminds me of home. The baklava (which I forgot to snap a pic because I ate it) is delicious and not over powering sweet. There is an outdoor area perfect for people watching while you eat. Especially, if you’re traveling alone. If you are in the Palo Alto area, make sure to stop here. I will be back!“
“I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The portions are huge and incredibly tasty, making it a paradise for food lovers. The service is exceptional, with the staff being attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy delicious meals and impeccable service!“
“Pretty good food but plates are pretty expensive for what seems like a fast casual dining place. Paid >90 dollars for 4 plates although the plates are generous and I could have probably ordered 3. Atmosphere is alright but not commensurate with the bill, better to eat these plates at home. Polite staff.“
“We came to SAJJ with a small group of coworkers, and it was fast, friendly, and tasty. I had a shawafel rice bowl (shawarma and falafel) and all of the toppings I had them put on were great. I also liked the mint lemonade! I'd be happy to come back for a quick meal some time.“
“We catered a meal for 100 people for a big event this past weekend, and I worked with Ashvee to make this happen. First of all, she was wonderful and super helpful. The food was ready on time, huge portions and the meal was amazing. The chicken shawarma was excellent!! We had so many people compliment the food. The falafel was delicious and the sauces (Tzatziki, Lemony Tahini Sauce and Spicy Sauce) were so good. I don't even live in PA but I am definitely making the drive down to get more of it. Thank you Ashvee and RMK - great job! Can't wait to come back.“
“I stayed in San Mateo less than a week and ate here twice- it was that good. I’m a severe coeliac and all the food I ordered was not only incredibly tasty with generous portions, but also completely safe for my body. Best Shawarma I’ve had in years! My take out order was always fast to be served and still piping hot when I got home to eat it. Also appreciated the outdoor seating as an immune-compromised person, so I could eat with my family in a covid-safe way. Will definitely return next time I visit my family there. Thanks for feeding me so well!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten safe options for coeliacs!“
“Totally happy today with my trip to Aladdin Gourmet - ran in to get some haloumi on my way to BevMo - they had everything I needed and more that I didn't, including frozen Kunafe - the man at the register was very nice - I mentioned that my favorite Kunafe man moved to Ohio - to which he replied, "We make Kunafe here!" oh my goodness I was so excited. He shouted in Arabic to the man in the deli area to give me a piece - IT WAS DELICIOUS! I have my new Kunafe place! I was so sad when the last guy moved to Ohio and now I have my prayers answered - FRESH KUNAFE and still within a mile of my home! Next time I will get some of their fresh food on display - it looked and smelled delicious in there. Can't wait to visit them again! Meanwhile, I will eat my frozen Kunafe they carried, and will visit Aladdin again soon for my fresh Kunafe fix!“
“I love this place. The service is friendly and quick. I've been to all the locations now. My man introduced me to this place and we've been back several times. He always gets the chicken kabob plate. I've tried the mixed surf and turf plate, falafel, all the sides, the baklava, and probably more. lol. There's minimal seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. The food is always fresh and don't forget to ask for all the sauces if you like sauce. Their hot sauce is AMAZING! OH, and I love how their plates come with a grilled jalapeño. Such a nice touch! We'll be back soon!“
