About Arterra Restaurant

Arterra Restaurant, located within a hotel, offers a mix of dining experiences with some notable highlights and areas for improvement. The restaurant features a bright, airy space with a simple, Italian minimalist decor. Service quality varies; some staff are attentive and quick to serve, making guests feel welcome, while others are less helpful, with rude or inattentive servers impacting the overall experience.

The food menu includes a range of options, with sushi being a standout. The sushi, especially the Toro, is fresh and well-received, and the sushi bar shows enthusiasm for custom rolls, although they are priced at around $33. The Marco Polo roll and Tatsoi and fennel salad looked good but were a bit too sweet for some diners, and the avocado roll was unavailable due to a backup. The flatbread was well presented and tasty, but nothing particularly memorable. The buffalo wings received praise for being amazing.

Desserts such as the chocolate decadence are visually appealing but very heavy, and may benefit from a lighter accompaniment. The overall dining experience is described as decent, meeting standard expectations, but lacking a "wow" factor. Despite some service shortcomings, especially with drinks and attention to detail, the restaurant is appreciated for its good food and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a reasonable choice for hotel guests and visitors alike.

Go see Andrew at the Sushi bar!

Ask for loads of Ginger!
Surpringly good Japanese food there. They would waive the first 3 hours parking fee. Will go back again.
It's a hotel restaurant. Service leaves a lot to be desired, food is passible (avoid the steak - cooked well, bad cut). Sushi bar saves the day. Kudos to the chefs for their enthusiasm for custom rolls, but the price ($33) and not-quite-right drinks don't leave you feeling great about staying to eat in the hotel. Presentation on the chocolate decadence dessert is great, but is super heavy and needs something to cut through it. Buffalo wings were amazing. I'll edit based on...read full review
