Have to say...this could be the worst cotijas I've been too...I've been to many throughout SD and my belief here is that they are cutting corners and serving some pretty lousy quality food. Nice patio..but the food just doesn't measure up. Go elsewhere.
I recently dined at Cotijas on Navajo Rd and had mixed feelings about the experience. The restaurant had a simple and clean ambiance, emphasizing a no-frills atmosphere.For my meal, I ordered the #7 Breakfast burrito with hash browns, egg, cheese, and sour cream. Unfortunately, the presentation was disappointing, as all the ingredients were chopped up and mashed together, making it unappealing. Service and atmosphere are fine.Portions and quality have gone down hill. I mean way down hill. Prices are on the more expensive side for SD taco shops, and the burritos are some of the smallest I’ve seen.Disappointing because it used to be my favorite shop. Won’t be returning.
