We loved that they offer table service. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server offered descriptive recommendations while taking our order. They offer a selection of tap beers and bottled wine. The portion sizes are hearty, and the pricing is fair. The kalua pig combo plate was delicious. It was served with rice and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was exactly what I was looking for as far as taste. The spam musubi was the only thing we didn't enjoy. The spam was overcooked. We will definitely be back and recommend this location!“

“I came into l &l after a nasty dirty experience at chipotle so I wasn’t expecting much from a food establishment 2 doors down and I was blown away with a my experience at L&L the place was clean very welcoming Magaly the cashier was awesome and turned my whole day around her customer service and great attitude patience and great overall vibe was beautiful my friend had to compliment her on her great service I will always come to this food establishment when I’m in this area and had to give a review so everyone could know what great service this place has and the food is amazing as well and cook is doing a great job aswell“

It's almost great, but the dark meat is almost always over cooked. It tastes like it was scraped of the grill. Imagine if there was left over grime in a skillet. It just tastes charcoaly“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“
