“18$ for Garlic Shrimp Salad (lunch) -- I will definitely come back for this meal! I was working at the hospital across the street and walked here looking for a quick lunch that was decently priced. I was pleasantly surprised to find huge juicy garlic shrimp (well cooked and not dry, AND deveined), along with a fresh salad that had some fresh pineapple and grilled onions in there. Yum! I could tell this was a family owned location with the two main workers as husband and wife. They were super sweet. There are a bunch of tables that you can sit inside or outside. I chose to sit outside and questioned why I don't live in San Diego? Haha. All in all, if you're looking for a healthy choice --get the garlic shrimp salad and sub with salad :)“

“First time at It's Raw. The shop is tucked away but super close to the beach. The service is extremely quick! They have differently seasoned salmon, ahi, veggies, as well as drinks and desserts. The poke was fresh and I got to eat it right by the beach!“

“This place is so cute- a bit of a hole in the wall with outdoor seating. It's aligned with the ambiance of PB. The spam musubi is just okay tbh, but my favorite thing to get is the Jr. Boy, which is sooooo good 5/5. The sausage and egg with rice is a delicious small savory thing to eat after having the french toast. The coconut syrup served with the french toast is amazing. I wish I was closer because I want to try out all the other food!“

“The variety of food offered here made it very enjoyable for everyone in our family! My kids loved the panko shrimp and the poke bar where they were able to select various fresh fish and toppings. The adults had sushi (beautiful presentation), spam musubi, ahi crispy tacos, and fried squid legs (my favorite - perfect crisp on the outside and super tender inside)! It was an awesome meal just a few steps from Pacific Beach!“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. (It’s a reality in the Hillcrest restaurant business ☹️).“

“Underwhelming. I was attending a research meeting at a nearby hotel and it was raining like crazy in typically sunny San Diego so I needed a nearby place ideally outside the giant hotel I'm stuck in all day. Hi Poki was hidden in the far back corner of a half deserted shopping area ironically surrounding a former historical prison. Tables outside were drenched so I had to eat inside at a table with a red (not clean) cloth tablecloth covering it. Place was empty and I ordered a do it yourself Poki bowl for $20 plus tax ($22). It was underwhelming. Mostly brown rice and some limited greens with three itty bitty scoops of fish. The sauces were a little too sweet for me and since the bowl was kinda small once you added the toppings and crunchy stuff a little hard to mix it up and dive in without spilling it all on that red tablecloth. Not great. At best good. I'd pass.“

“I actually dream about this place as soon as we hit town. The fish is so fresh, all the ingredients are fresh. And the staff caters to your likes - for example, I say 'I love seaweed salad' as I'm ordering and they give you a little extra. They confirm what they are putting into the bowl at every step, 'is this enough' wasabi or 'would you like to add ____ sauce, it goes well with what you have'. Very helpful. Eat here“

“The food is delicious! You can feed two people with one order but if you don't like to share, get your own. The staff is friendly when they greet you and are quick to help take your order. Give it a try if you're looking for something quick and good.“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch because I was craving poke. There was one person working who seemed to manage the small line that just went through and the orders online that were coming in. I ordered a small bowl with salmon, and was alarmed when the total cost came to $17 after tax. As I understand it, the amount of fix ins are the same between a small, medium, and large bowl, but the amount of scoops of fish is different. I wish this spot had a small with bowl with less fix ins that you can buy for less money, between $10-$12 seems reasonable. The amount of food I got for a small bowl was a ton and was more than I wanted, but had pretty good flavor. For the amount of sides and rice you get, the ratio of fish seems very small, so I'd check out this spot if you want less poke and more sides with your meal. Other than the food, the place itself was extremely loud. I wanted to eat it there, but had to eat it outside because it was just so loud.“

“Such a friendly and kind owner—he made my day with his kindness!! He prepared 12 meals for my coworkers and myself so efficiently, making all of them so well while working by himself. The poke is delicious and he experiments with new tasty recipes and flavors all the time! Highly recommend for a filling and healthy lunch.“

“Best Filipino food! I was in Los Angeles and I came across with their restaurant Kusina San Diego I was really happy because I saw the Kare-kare which is my ultimate favorite and I've been craving with the dish. Yes!! it was really delicious. Highly recommended!“

“Order before you come!!! My one person/plate order took 30min. (Did come at 6pm on a Sunday) Tons of Uber eats/door dash and people picking up takeout. I almost drove away because it looked busy but I was starving and craving Hawaiian. Door dash guy at the front waiting said 10min wait... I ordered a 2 item combo Korean Chicken and Teri beef. Delicious. Food was bomb, flavor was abundant. The chicken was fresh and hot, the beef was lukewarm. But taste was great! There's 5 tables in here, not much and it's not the cleanest but they were so busy what could u expect... feels like a mom and pop owned franchise.“

“Solid breakfast spot in OB. They have a decent size outdoor patio that is dog friendly! I tried the Kailua Pork Benedict and a specialty coffee. The Benedict looked great but was definitively missing some seasoning. My specialty Hawaiian coffee (can't remember the name of the one I ordered) was delicious and a great pick my up for the morning! Staff was friendly but not the most attentive.“

“I've only had good luck here, I've only had good food here, I always order the volcano chicken teriyaki bowl They put freshly diced pineapple and freshly diced mango over the chicken teriyaki, Great sauce, that is totally delicious..... I'm a "total foodie" and I'm extremely intuitive, in-tune and I could tell you that this food here It's always been good and clean and fresh and fast, They also have really wonderful tea selection up on the counter (not too sugarized tea)If I ever experience a negative issue with this restaurant I will come back and change my review but as of right now I think it's one of the best little restaurants here at Liberty Station Point Loma.“

“This is definitely one of my favorite Poke places in San Diego! I could literally eat Poke and/or Sushi every day, and this is one of my go-to spots. Their fish is cold and fresh and the bowls are plentiful. They don't charge extra for things that should be included (like some places). The staff is helpful and professional and the atmosphere is chill. This is a great place to start if you're new to Poke and don't want to feel confused when deciding what to add to your bowl. I highly recommend!“
