“This is my family’s regular go to dinner spot for Friday night. Food comes out pretty quick and my young kids love the katsu and short ribs when mixed with the teriyaki sauce so it is one meal during the weak we don’t need to fight them to clean their plates. Tee is also an amazing front of house staff member and super friendly so I always enjoy calling in my order to chat with her.“

“Even though the store gets busy, the food and service are amazing. The staff is super nice and makes sure you have your utensils and water cups whether you are staying or taking it to go. My friend has been coming here for almost 10 years, and it is easy to see why.“

the staff was awesome too. everyone was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely happy to help. the portions were generous and everything tasted incredibly fresh.

i’m not even from san diego, but this quickly became one of my favorite spots while visiting. if i lived nearby, it would honestly be dangerous because i’d probably be here all the time. great food, great service, and an all around awesome experience. highly recommend pacific beach poke house!“

“Visited recently and had a good experience overall at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Portions were generous and the food definitely hit the spot when craving Hawaiian BBQ. The BBQ chicken had good flavor and the macaroni salad was solid. Service was friendly and the food came out reasonably fast. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because a few things could have been a little more consistent, but overall I’d come back again.“

We visiting during lunch on Tuesday June 2. She was welcoming, helpful, and really embraced the aloha spirit. Please give her a raise.“

“I came here for the first time while I was visiting back home. The food was really good. The only thing I'll say is that they did not have a restroom. You'll have to go across the street to 711 but the service was nice and the prices weren't bad.“

“I go to Pokechop all the time. The food is delicious with great portion sizes. The ingredients are super fresh and flavorful. I love being able to customize my poke bowl, which you can’t always do at different poke shops. I usually order ahead of time and it is always ready quickly.“

“Everyone in our house used to like poke. After we found Poke Chop, we LOVE poke! They have so many options of fish and sauces and toppings. I’ve never found as big of a selection. My daughter would eat here every day if I’d let her. There aren’t many places in Hillcrest where a family of 3 can get dinner for around $30, and be totally stuffed, and not feel blah afterwards. The fish is always really fresh. The only thing that could make it better is if they added mango, mmmmm. We try to eat there as much as possible because it will be a very sad day if they close. “I came into l &l after a nasty dirty experience at chipotle so I wasn’t expecting much from a food establishment 2 doors down and I was blown away with a my experience at L&L the place was clean very welcoming Magaly the cashier was awesome and turned my whole day around her customer service and great attitude patience and great overall vibe was beautiful my friend had to compliment her on her great service I will always come to this food establishment when I’m in this area and had to give a review so everyone could know what great service this place has and the food is amazing as well and cook is doing a great job aswell“

Oh and since you got rid of your yummy fountain and now just have standard Pepsi $2+ is a little much for a little cup of a Pepsi product .... I miss the old options that were worth the money �“

“Good protein options. I went at a not too busy time of day so I also got to quietly sit and enjoy the meal. I only had the PYOP so I can only say that I enjoyed that, but I am sure everything else on the menu is good as well“

They have a large selection of drinks and snacks as well.

“Super sweet staff during Comic-Con, it even started raining a tiny bit on the patio and they moved umbrellas over. Wish they would've participated more in the event, but it was chill. Food/drinks were amazing. Our server was awesome. Mango Lychee Margarita was delicious.“
