Best Ramen in San Diego, Highly recommend the Chicken and the Tan Tan Ramen. We have tried most if not nearly all Ramen in SD and the only two that are close are Menya and HiroNori.
We were seated right away, immediately greeted, and accommodated to a booth so my boyfriend and I could sit together. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. The service was good too, our waitress came to us often checking in on us. We ordered a fried chicken appetizer. It was served piping hot with a tangy sauce and a lemon wedge. Found this gem from instagram & decided to visit after a cold day at the beach. We tried the kitakata ramen & tan tan ramen - they both have a unique broth. I usually prefer creamy ones like the tan tan, but the broth for kitakata was also good. Got seated right away even though it was during dinner and food was served right away. Will definitely come back & try their karaage.
