Food was awful, I think even spoiled seafood.. worst seafood place, bad service…waste your money somewhere else..
good service and delicious dood
they have live music during the weekends , the food is good and the prices affordable . the restaurant has limited parking ,you can park on the street if you are able to find a spot . the waitresses are nice , they great you as soon as you walk in to the door . the only drawback on this place is how small it is . if you want to avoid crowds or small spaces order your food to go .

Mariscos Altata, located at 4297 Market St, San Diego, CA 92102, offers a delicious seafood dining experience. The restaurant is easy to find with plenty of free parking onsite and is close to the 805 freeway. While the exterior may not be the most attractive, the interior is comfortable and has a friendly adult-friendly atmosphere with music performances.
The menu features delicious options such as fish tacos, campechana (shrimp in tomato sauce, onions, and cucumber), and piña colada. The chef creates food art, making the presentation of the dishes beautiful and unique. The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is fast, responsive, and friendly.
Customers describe Mariscos Altata as a fun spot, reminiscent of a Mexico trip, with families and men enjoying beers and seafood. The seafood is good, and the Mexican music playing with chips and salsa adds to the atmosphere. The staff is attentive and nice, and the place fills up quickly, indicating its popularity among friends, couples, and families. The servings are large, and the dish presentations are impressive. However, some customers find the music to be extremely loud and noisy, which may deter them from dining in and encourage them to order for takeout instead.
