I got vegetable pho takeout with shrimp added in. The food was ready to go when I got there, and the waiter at the front was very nice.Unfortunately, the food was not good. I’m not an expert on pho by any means, but after years of almost exclusively ordering vegetarian (+shrimp) pho for takeout I have an idea of what “good pho” means to me - it always comes down to the broth and this broth tasted like mushroom water. This place is a lot trendier than your typical phở restaurant. You get a hipster Vibe here, but the food and service are pretty spot on. I got the Grilled Shrimp Rice plate and my mom got the vegetarian phở. Both were pretty tasty.

So so delicious! We were craving authentic Vietnamese and opted for this fun blend of the traditional and the trendy. We tried the spring rolls and really enjoyed the filet mignon pho. As a traditionalist, I opted for the pho with sirloin/strip steak and there were no regrets, but no matter what, you can't make a wrong choice.
