“Carbon is easily one of the best restaurants in San Diego! My boyfriend and I had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner there—great service, delicious drinks, and incredible food. I ordered the pistachio campanelle, which was an easy 11/10, and my boyfriend had the picanha steak—also 11/10! We shared a sangria, and to top it off, they surprised us with cannolis on the house. Our waitress, Michelle, was attentive and so much fun. Plus, if you’re sitting outside and get chilly, they even have blankets. We’re still talking about it. We’ll definitely be back with friends!“

“Fabulous food served in a no-frills, casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and Chef Luciano Cibelli comes out of the kitchen and checks with every table to see how diners are doing. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the seafood fettucini, chicken parmesian, and the catch of the day, which was sea bass on a bed of roasted vegetables, with beet purée and a delicious beurre blanc. Delish!“

“We got here right when they opened at 5pm, as that was our reservation time, and there was a line up to get in! Their happy hour is simple but has a wonderful selection of wine and cocktails. The decor is simple and reminds me of a classic, unassuming and delicious french restaurant. The charcuterie board had some of the most flavorful cuts I've had on this side of the Atlantic. I'd go back and try more food.
Parking: Parking in the lot behind the restaurant only begins at 5pm“

“Sophia and Art were our waiters tonight. The ambiance and atmosphere was 100% on theme for Halloween. Every room was decorated with spider webs, jump scares with characters, including the bathroom! Would recommend to all of my friends . I'm actually coming back in 2 weeks. The food itself was amazing. Would recommend the Brussel sprouts, Margherita pizza, fettuccine bolognese, and the lamb medallions“

“It’s too bad that a patron enjoying the excellent cuisine is “rushed” to finish the dining experience. They obviously want as many table “turnovers” as possible. It ruins the relaxing enjoyment a patron expects with fine dining. Such a shame…“
