Food was alright for an airport diner, tables were dirty, got our food so there was service, but whatever you do, do not order from the table with their App! On top of the Employee Benefit charge there is a 20% charge, whether you tip them or not! It isn't disclosed and the receipt doesn't show it but the charge to the credit card is more than the receipt!
John L deserves a raise! I want to shine some light on this 5 star employee of yours. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into a restaurant and it takes the bartender 10-15 minutes to acknowledge you. John L greeted me upon arrival, asked me how my day was going, and actually cared to have a conversation with me. He made me feel appreciated and welcomed and that is why I'll be coming back. I don't usually leave reviews at the airport, because time is precious. But I have to this time. I got here around 0930 on the Tuesday after Labor Day. It was seat yourself. They have a scanner on the table that was super easy to use. As soon as the employee saw me, he greeted me. Asked if I was having any trouble with the scanner.
