Good option for sandwiches and/or salads while visiting the Zoo. My Cali BLT was well prepared and I liked the sourdough bread. The line was also relatively short and the service was fast, particularly compared to other restaurants in the zoo.
Amazingly friendly staff. When you walk in, you immediately feel like family. There is so much variety. The #25 is amazing with it's fresh sliced avocado. The #45 is easily my favorite hot sandwich. There is always 2 new soups daily and all of them are absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and fully customizable. We had a ham and cheese and a BLT sandwich. They were both outstanding!! The bread was sturdy and held the sandwiches together perfectly. The kettle chips that came with the sandwich were delicious. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. Hard to believe we were eating ‘zoo food’…! They also had various ice cream sundaes, which looked amazing. Next time we will try one. Definitely recommend if you want something besides a hotdog or fries.
