This Starbucks is located inside the Vons. It might not be the largest store (it is certainly very small), but my Barista might have been the friendliest I've had in a long memory. Given this Von's lack of size, in the pretty congested SD neighborhood of Normal Heights and Kensington, there are no tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your cup of Joe. This Starbucks is a kiosk located inside Von's. I picked up a grande caffe misto made with their dark blend. It was better than I expected, meaning it was not harsh and offered a smoother finish. The barista was a little heavy on the milk but not by much. He was friendly enough and participated in small talk. I would recommend that they encourage their employees to be a little more welcoming and initiate conversation.
