“First time visiting Luchador on May 4th and had a great time. The service and the beer was great, the music by DJ Andy O was vibing and the food was good. I highly recommend the guacamole and chips.“

“Had sushi for dinner, wanted some sake, and accidentally found this place. It's behind the gate and you would the staff to let you in.
Had a flight of various kinds of sake/beer, and a jinjo #7 white beer. All taste great.

“Claremont Craft Ales is a great time! Huge selection, kind staff, and plentiful indoor and outdoor seating (metal picnic tables with umbrellas). Great for large groups--we gathered 30+ friends for a celebration and they could easily accommodate. Line moves swiftly (you order at the bar). Food trucks outdoors and the ability to bring food from elsewhere is a bonus. Lots of parking, both in the lot and in the adjacent street. Dog friendly.“
“Hipster paradise as excellent beer selection, especially if you are into saisons and sours. Small feed menu, but fried chicken was excellent. Can make it a twofer with Highland Park Chinatown just up the street.“

“Last Name has the best food trucks to go with the best beer and servers. Last night it was Crumble Cakes Cafe and a great Bahn Mi Submarine. Of course with one of their excellent Chocolate chip cookies and great potato salad. Beer was Blond, James Blond.“
“i come from a place with a LOT of good beer around. visiting here, i’ve been looking for good beer and coming up short. la verne brewing was no exception. the beer is perfectly fine, but my five-sample flight didn’t include anything that made me sit up and take notice. however, i noticed that the crowd seemed to be regulars and the vibe was warm and welcoming and there was live music on tap as well as beer. it seems like a great place to go if you’re not either a serious connoisseur or just a little bit spoiled.“
“Had to try this place out since they were a huge sponsor to our community 4th of July event at Covina Park. I couldn’t believe how cool the people here are. The beer is so good and the name of the beer is super awesome! The crowd is super cool and diverse. Me and my friend Diana instantly felt a good vibe and positive energy as soon as we walked in. “The people here are very friendly. My appointment was at 2pm the next day. I arrived at 7pm the day before and waited for an hour before unloading the goods. Maybe they were not busy and I was lucky. All in all it was a good unloading experience.“

“Stopped in for a couple beers with my wife.She had the AU Golden Ale, tasty, light not over strong.I had the IPA good not to Hippie.Tried there wings, good, could have been a fried a bit extra for our taste, would have made the skin a touch crispy.We also tried the Philly Cheese sandwich on sourdough. Nice pieces of beef.We will stop in another time.“

“Great beer…nothing else. Slow slow slow service…food was just okay. Would have stayed for one more beer but the server never came back when I asked for a taste of the beer I was contemplating purchasing. When they came back without the request we just paid and left. Next time we will sit at the bar, maybe service is better there.“
