My wife got the chicken kebab plate with hummus and macaroni. I got the beef lule kebab plate with Shirazi and French fries. They make it fresh right when you order so it can take a couple of minutes. We are our food inside of the place so they brought our dish out to us. They also give complimentary lentil soup for my wife. We both really like how seasoned the chicken and beef lule kebab were. We'll be sure to come back again to try another dish.“

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

Even though they opened a new location in Santa Clarita, this one remains top tier—the taste here is always on point. Definitely my go-to spot!“

The Manager Greated me as I came in his name was Carlos , he was incredibly helpful with the menu and how it worked, he was incredibly generous with his time and helped the entire time I was there eating . “Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

Even the rice is completely different and cooked to perfection. The food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“

“After the 4th restaurant in Tujunga failed to make good Shawarma, I thought I would have to drive all the way to Glendale for the only good Shawarma I know, that I get from a food truck. I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. The dine in place is nice and spacious, the service was kind, and for the first time in Tujunga that I know of, this a restaurant that didn't serve dry wraps with no garnishes.“

My name is Jon and today was my first time visiting Lemonzest. Mediterranean food is my favorite and I am extremely happy that I accidentally found this location while walking by it. I was immediately greeted by the two team members who both had amazing energy that made me feel welcomed!! The music and atmosphere was perfect for anyone to relax while simply enjoying lunch or dinner. Of course, the food... mmm mmm! I am in love with how delicious the food was. The rice was light and flavorful, the chicken was very tender, and the salad was perfectly fresh. For sure Lemonzest will be my first choice when I am too lazy to cook at home.

“I was eyeballing this place for months, finally went and got #1 pork chops and it was just as good as I hoped. 2 big pieces of pork, well done, fluffy soft rice, the pepper & tomato were juicy (everthin just needed a little salt). It's a small place with about 10 tables inside. Lady at the front was nice, wait time is min 15min & prices are fair for the big portion. Located on the corner with parking. Will definitely be back to try the beef kabob.“
