My wife got the chicken kebab plate with hummus and macaroni. I got the beef lule kebab plate with Shirazi and French fries. They make it fresh right when you order so it can take a couple of minutes. We are our food inside of the place so they brought our dish out to us. They also give complimentary lentil soup for my wife. We both really like how seasoned the chicken and beef lule kebab were. We'll be sure to come back again to try another dish.“

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

“Luna Grill was looking real clean when I walked in, so off to a good start. Ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate...solid portion for the price. Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“Stopped in here today and glad we did. This is a very comfortable open air patio restaurant with outstanding food.

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

Even the rice is completely different and cooked to perfection. The food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. “Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

“ABSOLUTE GEM. We were lucky enough to find Cafe Elegante after a long travel day. Was just dumb luck that we found it but BOY did they delivery.

“The food here is really delicious! Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell they put care into how it’s made. The people who work here are super sweet and friendly, which makes the experience even better.
The only downside is that the prices feel a bit on the higher side for a kebob stand. Still, the quality and taste definitely make it worth trying. Overall, great food and great service!“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. The Manager Greated me as I came in his name was Carlos , he was incredibly helpful with the menu and how it worked, he was incredibly generous with his time and helped the entire time I was there eating . “Have lived in the area most of my life and somehow it took me this long to finally stop in. Maybe because I sleep most days and work all night, I'm never up early enough? Honestly with the state of the world, most natural disasters won't get me out of bed, but I will now actually set my alarm just to stop in for a loaded gyro and some hummus and pita. Super easy casual spot, I want to start going through their list of sandos after how perfectly balanced and filling their gyro was, but honestly it's going to be hard not to keep ordering this every time. Super fresh, garlicky hummus, great portions for the price on everything, and a quick easy lunch that doesn't break your wallet.

What else can you ask for? Don't sleep on this place as long as I did, and support every local business you can right now. I got a super fresh, filling, quick meal for less than I'd spend at McDonalds, and I'll probably be back here once a week“

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I love trying new places. We found this place on the hunt for the best khinkalis. We visited the actual store front first. The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“

I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. The dine in place is nice and spacious, the service was kind, and for the first time in Tujunga that I know of, this a restaurant that didn't serve dry wraps with no garnishes.“

“I was eyeballing this place for months, finally went and got #1 pork chops and it was just as good as I hoped. 2 big pieces of pork, well done, fluffy soft rice, the pepper & tomato were juicy (everthin just needed a little salt). It's a small place with about 10 tables inside. Lady at the front was nice, wait time is min 15min & prices are fair for the big portion. Located on the corner with parking. “We were looking for a quick bite before an event and happened to spot this cozy little place. We hadn’t read any reviews and had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find! The couple who runs it was warm and welcoming. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich combo—so good! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu next time I’m in the area.
