About 7 Adams

7 Adams offers a cozy atmosphere with amazing music and very friendly staff. While reservations might take some time, the experience is worth it. The restaurant specializes in European cuisine and is suitable for any occasion. The 5- or 7-course meal includes red wine and coffee, with bread and butter that are simple yet satisfying. Appetizers are light, and the poached egg is well seasoned. Dishes like hangar steak and cod are cooked well, though some items like the white truffle risotto may not always meet expectations. The restaurant is often busy, and seating can be tight, but the atmosphere remains pleasant and not too loud. The pacing of the food is perfect, and service is attentive and friendly. Desserts are larger than expected, with some finding the chocolate pear overpowering, while others enjoy the sundae for its balanced flavors. The small portions of the dishes are exquisite, and the overall value is high, showing that thought and love are evident in every detail.

7 Adams is a fantastic spot for an anniversaryget away splurge. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the staff are incredibly attentive. Every plate arrives with an exquisite presentation that makes you feel like you’re at a Michelin star restaurant. The seasonal tasting menu is perfectly curated and the flavors are balanced. I’d say this is one of the best restaurants in San Francisco for fine dining. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Enjoyed michelin star 5 course tasting menu. Lamb was disappointingly small and fatty but they replaced with fish which was excellent.

Easily one of the tastiest great values in San Francisco for modern dining. Menu options are sophisticated but ordering is not complicated, ... ingredients are fresh and creative and never fussy. The food is delicious, the service is friendly yet totally on point. We had the five course, and while not cheap, it seemed entirely reasonable as the food and experience delivered above this price point for SF. Would definitely return, would definitely bring friends and family.
