My childhood favorite hit as usual
Timeless, greasy spoon diner — near institutional for this stretch of 3rd Street. For generations, B&J has been serving early breakfast (opens 6:30am) and lunch (till 3pm) to neighborhood locals and industrial workers alike.
Hot, prepared sandwiches still come to under $7. Double Burger with Cheese is an all-American standard. Side of French fries are thick-cut and double fried.
