I love coffee shops to meet people, to work, and to enjoy coffee. Compton is truly amazing across all dimensions, but most importantly, the service is probably the best I have ever gotten. Everyone on the team is sooo friendly and once you visited a couple of times, they even remember your name and orders. 5 star all around.
Comes across as a WeWorks space that has no heat ; it’s a good looking igloo on Columbus Avenue. It is not yet a neighborhood cafe like Cafe Angolo or Stella bakery; Service here is rather nice. And so is the coffee which is excellent .Overall, it’s good to have Compton because this space was dark and empty for years, like a missing tooth in an otherwise nice row of teeth.But I wish it wasn’t lifeless. So far, so good! It's a great spot to sit and relax a bit as there's a decent amount of seating. The workers so far have been really friendly, which sometimes feel quite rare in SF!
