“Would have given 5 stars if not for the misleading name of the establishment. They should have, instead of using the word bakery, used the words pastry palace. Or something like that. When you go to a bakery and they don't have donuts, donut holes, or even apple fritters, then it is a sad day my friend.
For me, today is that day.“

“Wonderful service. They accommodated our custom requests that were placed shortly before the delivery date was due.The cake itself was delicious and a hit amongst everyone. The fact that the cake was not too sweet was the icing on the cake, so to speak.“

“The best dipped chocolate ice cream EVER!!!!. I have not been able to find any other place with the same quality and quantity. If you are in town or around the area craving ice cream, stop by, you wont regret it. Let me tell you, their eggnog ice cream is AMAZING. Don't hesitate. Only problem, be prepared for the wait time, worth it though!.“

“Heavenly but problematic.. We arrived at Dianda's about 30 minutes before closing. The server was very patient and boxed up a delectable assortment of pastries for us. When we tried them half an hour later, it was like rum cake heaven (and the chocolate pastries were out of this world).
But be warned - if you go there after 6:30pm, the cleaning person is already mopping around you with a foul-smelling floor cleaner (bleach..?) Frankly this almost put us off buying anything, and also gave us awful allergy headaches later that night. We loved the pastries and will go back for more - but never close to closing time! (7pm).“

“Gabby and her team at Cake Coquette made our wedding cake, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but she also brought our vision to life beautifully. Gabby was a joy to work with, and our friends and family are still talking about how much they loved the cake!

Tina, the owner is amazing at what she does and puts much so effort into her work. I can’t pinpoint a specific dessert because they can whip up just about anything. My favorite in particular is Tina’s delicious red velvet cupcakes. The treats are tasty and made with love. More than that, Tina provides superior customer service. Tina’s staff at the UC Berkeley location is always going above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect and with a smile. “You definitely need to know what order here:
Egg tarts and BBQ pork buns are made fresh in the morning and honestly quite the hidden gem here. I'm an egg tart connoisseur, and for a hole in the wall in the Mission, it actually is one of the better egg tarts in SF, in fact, the peninsula. (Try to buy them earlier in the day though).

Many of the other items are a gamble though; many of the cakes don't seem fresh. It's probably best to ask the employees when each thing was baked.“

“One of my fondest memories is coming here circa 2017 on a chilly day and eating ice cream while walking along Haight Street. I think it’s when the PB and cookies first came out. So good! Recommend the brand and this specific location, for their progressive values and hardcore nostalgia of Haight Street.
