Good food, fresh sushi but one star down for loud techno/disco music. You can’t talk here, everyone is screaming. Turn the music off and change to something calmer.
This was my first time visiting this place. Super friendly staff and they give good recommendations if you’re unsure of what to get. I recently started exploring Japanese food and art and this place did not disappoint. The sushi is super fresh and delicious. Definitely coming again!!!
There are only a few tables though. You can also get take out if you’re running late;)

Ebiko is a bright, clean, and spacious spot for fresh sushi. The sushi is super fresh and delicious, with good quality and reasonable prices. The rice was softened, and the fish flavor and cut size were perfect. The sushi selection is great, with a walk-up fridge stocked with freshly made assortments. Customers enjoy the hamachi roll, tobiko eggs, and pickled veggies. The Nigri mix is amazing and totally worth the price. The sashimi was good but not amazing.
The staff is always nice and polite, super friendly, and gives good recommendations. There are only a few tables and counter seatings, plus a row of seats facing the window. Take out is available. There are two beverage fridges with a large assortment of drinks and racks of packaged dry goods. The place is clean, including the bathroom.
One issue is the loud techno/disco music, which makes it hard to talk. Another downside is that the wasabi is put together with the ginger, making the ginger very spicy and ruining it. Customers hope for more choices of sushi in the future. Parking is hard in that area, but Washington Square park is just one block away.
