Fantastic market given the location; Fresh produce and practically all my staples. They will not treat you necessarily like you'd expect from your suburban grocery store so do expect urban attitudes. They cannot possibly accommodate bathroom-users. Sorry, blame the city.
Thank God for this place. When I was newly pregnant and had little ability to cook for myself the ready made daily food saved me. To this day I know I can come get a good meal. They accept all forms of payment and EBT. The staff is respectful and no nonsense. As a frequent customer I feel welcome and safe. This is a little oasis. Usually go for the Chicken Snitchal I think that's what it's called and it's in the deli. It's expensive but very well made. And I usually cut that up and put it in the Ceasars Salad that is packaged and in the refrigerator. Gotta say I end up paying twenty five dollars just for that so be prepared. They also have good pastries. And a nice staff.
