Came here for the first time for dinner and it's a a pretty standard sushi restaurant. Would come here for the happy hour menu if I were to come back. Not too fancy, not too casual. The shrimp tempura are smaller than I anticipated.
Recently eaten at Koo! We sat at the sushi bar where we could watch the chefs prepare rolls as we ate. The food was delicious! We had the "Best" roll which is the one topped with lemon, as well as the "J & L" roll and the spicy tuna roll. Everything was . The Best roll was very unique, with a strong lemony flavor. Clean place with fresh flavors. Lots of sushi in this neighborhood but you get what you pay for here. I'm a fan of the happy hour maki and appetizers as well as their catch of the nigiri/sashimi. Rolls are filling and great variety of options.Bill was around 100 before tax and tip for two relatively light eaters.
