This is probably the 8th time at my favorite sushi restaurant in SF? I decided to everything for the first time today. Omakase tasting box (5/5): I can't believe I finally got the omakase! This tasting box comes with otoro sashimi , hamachi toro, amaebi, seared toro, chefs oyster, salmon toro, uni with ikura, ungai with imitation crab, and hamachi tartare. Monday, April 1 my girlfriend and I met up at live sushi, I have to say it was pretty great with the exception of the sushi not being the best but for the price it was definitely doable. Don't get me wrong. The sushi wasn't bad at all. It's just that I'm used to sushi in Japan so it's hard to beat that but the sushi was absolutely good.. anyway, their location was great. Parking was easy and the ambience, service was lovely. This place I would absolutely suggest during lunch hour.

A hidden gem in SF. Was craving authentic Japanese food (specifically tempura & soba noodles) after visiting Japan and Live Sushi Bar did not disappoint.
