Lung Fung Bakery Reviews
Got woken up early to get here before 9am for their BBQ pork buns that is super saucy and the bread extra squishy, just how I like it. Was told it still gets sold out by noon. The egg tarts are just as flaky and buttery like what I remember, flavor profiles still great withiut skimping on the ingredients. Food and music have the ability to bring back memories I have long forgotten, I bought a double order of them both and some.

Lung Fung Bakery is a popular spot for authentic Cantonese pastries and baked buns with alluringly caramel-brown crusts. This Chinese bakery is known for its use of lard in recipes, which creates incredibly flaky and flavorful treats. Favorites include the egg custard tarts with perfectly cooked filling, soft and addictive cocktail buns with coconut filling, and pillowy BBQ Pork Buns with smoky flavor. Freshly baked goods are always available, and although the space inside is small and not very kid-friendly, the quality and taste make it worth the visit. The bakery operates on a cash-only basis and often draws lines, with some customers coming from far away to stock up on buns like roast pork, pineapple custard, and green onion. The bakery is not focused on service or atmosphere but excels in making delicious baked goods that keep customers coming back.
