We ate on Valentine’s Day so I was going to give them a pass for the lackluster service, but then I read other reviewers who agreed: food is great, but service could be more polished. For example, when we were seated the server immediately put down the amuse bouche, did not say what it was, and this was all while I was still standing, taking my jacket off and handing it to the host. Wonderful little French Japanese inspired restaurant. The food is delicious. Fresh and sophisticated. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is overall wonderful.We’ve dined couple of times at Mijoté and weren’t disappointed at any point.We had friendly conversations with the chef - about wine and food.Truly recommended for an amazing French experience in San Francisco.
