Haven't been here j I'm n years, so while craving some Chinese food, we thought we would give it a try. Sweet and Sour pork. I was actually hoping for that sweet, gooey, red dye filled sauce over crispy chunks of fried pork. What I received was a very mild sauce, doughy breaded pork with raw onions and raw green bell peppers. Blah! The beef Stew is always a crap shoot in most smaller restaurants. Absolutely delicious vegan Chinese food. High quality ingredients and really flavorful. I also love the old vibe of the place, a nostalgia for what San Francisco used to be. The couple working here is very humble, generous and kind. It’s truly a neighborhood gem.

Prices have gone up slightly but portion size still not bad. The taste of food is decent. Recently found out they no longer offer their onion pancakes which is really the only reason I order food from them. Without the onion pancakes, I see no special reason for me to go back because the food is as common as I find everywhere else.
