They really make the most amazing croissants! You can really feel the layers in the pastries and the flavour profiles are also great. The char siu croissant is made to perfection and I would always go back for it. Careful when transporting it if you’re take it to go though, because the oil will probably leak from the paper bag. The everything croissant is a great close second.
Love love love Neighbor Bakehouse! The most unique, well balanced pastries served up by really sweet staff. There's no seating barring some outdoor tables on the sidewalk, and the line gets really long on the weekends. The shop itself is small and they let people in one by one. This time we got two of their specials -- the matcha strawberry croissant, and the osmanthus fruit tart. BOTH were truly scrumptious!
