The prime rib was overcooked and not tender, we did emphasize that we wanted our meat medium. I understand the frenzy of Christmas Eve probably made the chef and staff overwhelmed and so the quality of the meat was below par. I hope they do better because we love the Mark Hopkins. The waiter made up for it by giving us all crème brûlée and champagne glasses. We will come back on a less busy day perhaps and hope to be impressed.
Had lunch at the Nob Hill Cafe before a holiday concert at Grace Cathedral. Perfect location and easy access by public transportation or by ride share service. Food was a nice presentation and enough choices. I would return.
