At the recommendation of Adam Savage, we stopped by while in the city, and tried out the place. AMAZING FOOD. The shrimp tacos were delicious, and my wife said her burrito was also delicious. Highly recommend to anybody looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food.

Papalote Mexican Grill VALENCIA offers plenty of options for vegetarians and plenty of vegan options (with more to come). The marinated tofu burrito bowl with guac is pretty good, and the achiote tofu burrito (with refried black beans and cheese) is delicious. The breakfast burrito (huevos a la mexicana with pinto beans and cheese) and the soyrizo burrito are also tasty and filling. The shrimp tacos are delicious, and the house roasted tomato salsa is everything everyone says it is. The jarred salsa is great, but the fresh salsa is all that much better. The staff and owner are friendly, welcoming, and personable. The service is fast and efficient. The prices are some of the best in the city. They also give a bag of nachos with a dipping sauce that was phenomenal. There is an outdoor seating area and plenty of tables inside.
