My wife and I live in the neighborhood and absolutely love the bagels here. I've been to NY and went out of my way to try their famous bagels. We might've gone to tourist traps sure but those places don't compare to this Posh Bagel. I'm not exaggerating I swear! This being one of the few breakfast options on Castro I decided to try it. I ordered the Lox sandwich because I’ve been craving a lox bagel. I got it with the jalapeño bagel and I liked the bagel part but with so many cucumbers and tomatoes in between it was messy and fell apart easily, I would’ve preferred less veggies and a little more salmon. For $14s I was disappointed. If I ever go back I’ll just get a bagel with spread.

My favorite vegetarian sandwich these days is the garden veggie bagel, sesame toasted with tomatoes, cucumbers, sprouts, peperoncini, mayo, mustard - the textures and freshnesss and temperatures are so good! And I appreciate the price.
