It is considered one of the best pizzerias in San Francisco, offering a relaxed, casual, and cool vibe. Customers love the New York style and deep dish slices, especially when they do not want an entire pie. The sauce is tangy, kinda sweet, and properly greasy, with a particular sweet taste. The pepperoni is an intensely flavorful cut of pig, and the dough is airy and light. However, the gluten free cheese pizza has a frozen thin underwhelming cracker like crust, though the sauce makes up for it, and there is a risk of cross contamination. The tomato pie was disappointing with very little cheese and no flavor. A drawback is that toppings get smeared on the box when taking slices to go. It is popular, so ordering ahead is better. A gift cert was offered to make up for a poor experience.
