Absolutely beautiful restaurant and amazing ambiance. Has an upscale Italian vibe that is hard to find nowadays. Ordered one of the house made pizzas and found it to be good yet the sauce was a little sweet for my liking. Had a little issue in which they added a tip for themselves for my takeout order that left me questioning the integrity of the staff and very unhappy.
Food is OK but pricey. The skirt steak is reliably good. We paid a $4 upcharge to get potatoes instead of polenta, which is OK but other restaurants would just do the substitution. The swordfish was properly prepared and a reasonable size but the vegetables underneath were rather muddy-tasting and uninspired.
