I was visiting San Francisco for work and was craving some Italian food. Uncle Vito’s is one of the best places I’ve been to anywhere. The Egg Plant Parmesan was amazing. I normally hate salads but this place had an amazing salad. The place has an awesome vibe too. Would have stopped there everyday if I could.
I am from the Seattle area visiting SF, we found Uncle Vito’s pizza. It reminded me of my childhood pizza parlor back in the Midwest, great old school feel. The service was great, I loved the fact that the owner was greeting and cleaning tables, the pizza was just what I was looking for and it hit that pizza satisfaction for some original old school pizza from the Midwest. Uncle Vito ain't messing around when it comes to food. We ordered a to-go sub and calzone. Both were great. The bechamel filing is perfect with pepperoni and salami. The order only took 10 minutes. Order here, and you'll be happy.
